response: While the Embassy representatives were not much help for where to explore next, Ludyc was amicable when he introduced people around the streets. They must be swarmed with the parade goers, it would be prudent to see the markets while the crowds are thinned. Elias bets he can find a trinket and dabble around without getting fleeced at the same time.

On his way to the market, he passes by a dark alleyway. It's black shadowy tendrils seem to beckon him. It is best not to go in unarmed. Elias plans to arm himself with the magic-imbued waters from the fountains before he storms headlong into danger.
