Who made this standard of being good enough? I'd really like to slap them.
I'm tired of being labeled that and being considered "underneath".
No, I'm sick and tired of it. It gets old fast.
I'm below every standard in every aspect of life, ever. |D After a while you just get used to the fact that you aren't graced with certain qualities that most other people have. Like money, good looks, mental stability, smarts, and the ability to speak without a stutter. That doesn't mean you can't be badass though.
Annoyance: My brother. He's autistic. He hates when people try to 'help' him and 'pamper' him, yet he isn't able to handle it when people reprimand him without special treatment.
eg. picture this scene:
Max [my brother] ate all the cookies.
I get mad at him and yell at him.
He cries and says, "I can't help it, I'm autistic!"
"You're a high-functioning autistic. You are very well capable of restraining yourself."
"I can't! I can't!"
"You can, stop using that excuse. You didn't behave like this before we told you you were autistic."
"I don't deserve to live!"
"Don't derail this conversation into a pity party. I'm not sympathetic."
