response: after browsing the quieter parts of the market, nerei found herself gravitating towards the fountain. any sort of water turned her into a moth, yearning for a cool, blue flame. she was lost in the crowd, mesmerized, as she watched the gentle streams of the fountain.

response: while some might find the sight of such an elaborate building intimidating, she finds the sight familiar and comforting. the rigidity of routine, structure, and etiquette calls to mind the airs of her own city; the clockings in and out to the sound of the bells, the days measured in chunks between knells. the wheelings and dealings of foreign diplomats and emissaries is not so different to those of the different orders and fellowships of home, either. besides, a new, confused face is nothing new in an embassy. just like home, there is always some fable making themself known to be proud to be important, or wanting to be. discreetly following one such stranger, she quickly finds herself lost in the shuffle of stormire's streets.

as the sun dips down below sloping sapphire roofs and casts long shadows across the city it once illuminated, you let out a sigh of content. your first day in this foreign realm has been one of much excitement, and you’re certainly ready to lay your head down for the night. as you make your way toward your accommodations, something nags at you about this world; you can’t help but wonder if there’s more to stormire than meets the eye.
