MEADOW RUNNERS | TRAITS, CUSTOMS, BREEDINGS !!

this thread is dedicated to the meadow runners traits, customs, and breeding info! please read the rules on their respective posts.

CUSTOM RULES

───────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────[ ★ ]───────

1. meadow runners based on real people, copyrighted characters, characters you don't own, and/or real-life products are not allowed.

2. you can transfer external designs (characters and UMAs) onto the meadow runner base, so long as you have proof of the original designer allowing for said transfer or have created it yourself !

3. you can have up to two free meadow runners being made at a time. This includes horses from giveaways/giveaway games. though, you can have as many USD orders in the works as you like.

4. items used in an order (breeding items, tickets...) are used up only if the artist accepts your offer. you will have to get the item again if you want to use another.

5. make sure you only post when artists say they're open, and read their terms first !

6. you are entitled to a refund after 1 month if an artist has not completed your order, unless you have acknowledged and accepted any delays they inform you about.



BREEDING RULES

1. breedings will produce 1-2 foals per order unless you use a specific item to boost chances. it is between the two users whether or not the foals will be divided if there is more than one.

2. USD breedings can produce a larger number of foals so long as the artist is willing to take on the requested number.

3. you can only host one breeding for yourself per free opening, but can lend your horses out to as many people as you like.

4. the other user must confirm the breeding post for it to be considered valid. please try to do this in a timely manner so artists don't have to search for it.

5. you can only request small/minimal details you'd like in the offspring. it is ultimately up to the trait system and artists' visions.

6. split payments (real currency) are not allowed. please make sure your payment goes to the artist from one person only.

7. you cannot request a breeding between meadow runners from the same family tree.

TRAITS

HOW THEY'RE LISTED
horses will be ID'd on the official imgbb with their rarities and ID number. if your horse has a special mutation/line edit, like horns, wings, etc., then it will have an 'S' before the number to mark it as special! [ ID-COAT/MARKINGS ]





for example, this horse (#1) has a common coat and common markings.
it has no special line edits, so it'll be marked as '1-CC'.


this horse (#4), however, has a special coat and special markings.
it also has special line edits (wings), so it'll be marked as 'S4-SS'.

MANE STYLES


bases: windswept mane | wavy mane | mohawk mane | spiky mane | short mane

COAT RARITIES

COMMON COATS
⋆ most natural coats fall under the common category, such as bay, black, and gray.

UNCOMMON COATS
⋆ a few natural coats fall under the uncommon category, such as pearl and silver.

RARE COATS
⋆ rare coats include gradients from one coat colour to another.
⋆ other rare coats can be coats like champagne and mushroom.

SPECIAL COATS
⋆ any non-natural coat colours, like blue.
⋆ includes majority natural coats with specks of non-natural colours, like blue.

MARKING RARITIES

COMMON MARKINGS
⋆ most markings fall under the common category, like pinto and leopard complex, or none!

UNCOMMON MARKINGS
⋆ there are a few uncommon markings, such as dappled, sooty, and pangare
⋆ any ‘artificial’ small markings in minimal numbers, such as a crescent moon, heart, star, etc.

RARE MARKINGS
⋆ rare markings are less likely to be passed down to foals.
⋆ stripes and brindle are a few examples of rare markings!
⋆ mixed markings can also be rare depending on what is blended.

SPECIAL MARKINGS
⋆ special markings consist of largely ‘artificial’ markings like full-body swirls, multiple stars, etc.
