I sat in the common room, in my favorite armchair. I stared into the flickering flames, and smiled slightly. Hogwarts - A History was in my lap, open to page 342, and I yawned. I didn't sleep too well last night; the girl next to me was being a nuisance. She kept waking me up and saying, "Diana, I'm fourteen."

I stood up. Packing away all of my books, I set off for the great hall.

I stroked the walls gently as I went, saying hello to my favorite paintings. Sir Cadogan's (er, forgot how to spell his name. ) sword tip in one painting announced his arrival, so I took off running.

Gerard sat in the Slytherin common room. Reading. For once. He silently read the passage in his book which was all about Lycanthropy.

I stood at the entrance to the great hall. Remus, James, and Sirius were in there. Also Nessa and Adam. I walked over.
