Extra: By the time the duo got home from scavenging, it was very late. In fact it was practically the next day!! Nocturne wandered in with Larry on his back. The little gray werm was wrapped in the red plaid blanket that the two of them had found under some rubble. It was surprisingly soft and Nocturne wondered to himself about who it used to belong to as Larry snored lightly. He wondered if they’d ever meet them and be able to return it. Baja offered to clean it up and hold onto it once Larry woke up and got settled. Today, Sunstone is back with the group and seems a lot more invested. Larry tells her about the sheer amount of wermz he saw walk out of the ruins one by one with copious amounts of crystal shards last night, and now Sunstone is determined to dig up at least 5 or so. Larry laughs at his friend as he scampers to the top of a pile of rocks and pebbles that used to be a building. There sits Nocturne, who seems to be enjoying the breeze. Larry takes a moment to appreciate it too. It’s crazy to him that the weather can feel so nice in a place that’s as destroyed as the ruins. It just goes to show that there can still be beauty found in what’s broken. 💙
