STAFF SEARCH



meadow runners is looking to hire moderators and artists ! applications will be reviewed by all staff as a whole team to determine who we think best fits the position and its responsibilities. please make sure you read the requirements for your application, and the role description.

1. you must be 18+ to apply for any staff role. do not share your exact age with us, however.
2. you must be in the meadow runners discord server.
3. your account must be at least a few months old.

ROLE DESCRIPTIONS

as a moderator, your job includes :

1. handling incidents with the strike system.
2. answering questions and guiding users through the species.
3. verifying new users into the discord server.
4. moderating the discord channels, as well as the CS threads.
5. helping giveaways run smoothly if needed.
6. completing dress-up requests.

as an artist, your job includes :

1. making meadow runners for the community.
2. creating items for horses.
3. helping with event assets.

PERKS INCLUDE

1. 1-2 free custom horses per month.
2. pre-claiming from herds before release.
3. consistent carrot & sugar cube payments.

a. make two standard horses (any coat, no line edits) and one custom (line edits) via the lines below.
b. submit your application with other pixel art UMA work.

you can do both if you like, there is no preference to which one you provide!
you may move the 'FAKE' signature, but not erase it.

previous work in other uma(s)/closed species : I unfortunately have not done a lot of pixel art previously but am hoping to get more into the style. I’ve always had a huge appreciation for it! However, I have been part of an active in a few other horse art communities and have done illustrations of my characters in those communities. why you want to be an artist for meadow runners :
i absolutely love working for umas in general, but teeny tiny ones have a special place in my heart. beardogs is where i started, it was the smallest character designing work i'd ever done, and it's been a very long time since they were open and i really miss them ! it's a shame that i never got to make them after really getting into the groove with my pixel work. i've been hoping a new tiny uma would pop up that i could get into for a long time, and this base was absolutely delightful to work with !

why you want to be an artist for meadow runners : I think these guys are super cute and I've had a lot of fun working on them, and I just enjoy getting to give things out to the community that people enjoy, I find it super fun :3

Extra Info: Alot of these guys I was looking around online at different horse markings and just kinda doing my own thing having fun with them, the third one I added little flowers in the hair though, that one's definitely my favorite of the standards I made.

Custom Horses:
Extra Info: I really love armored/dressed up horses and had to make some for my custom designs, I think horses like that look so cool, amd I also wanted to try giving the first one some braided hair.
