I am having a slight freak out here because WOW, HELLO???

Todays adopts are so! Perfect!

The snake axolotls are so amazing, I keep using the same words here but they are perfect! exactly my kind of cs pet! wild animal themed pets, especially those based on aquatic animals, give me so much joy c: after a quick google I'm thinking they're based off these guys? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Texas_blind_salamander


and all of the dragons??? all of the little creatures on them, the birds bats squirrels (edit- and ah ofc the fire dragon with the little geckos!) my favourites are these guys, fish and hognose snakes! you can even see the detailing of the 'natural' morph on the hognose around the dragons leg, and the 'super conda" morph hoggie on the head! I however love them all, each one are beautiful and so detailed! these guys just happen to display some of my favourite creatures

after this dialog from the library I was crossing my fingers for spider pets, but so far no dice. I understand not making many of them as many users dislike them, but they're super special to me so I hope we get some soon!

ah that's a good idea! I'm not very educated on salamanders (although I'm now planning a wiki deep dive) etc so I guessed the first one that came up at googling 'blind axolotls' lol!

It's pretty subtle, but I was zooming in on this unicorn in the dress up screen and noticed it has hetrochromia!

I remembered what Olm's were but I forgot the name so I also looked up blind axolotls. It is pretty cool that June Bug decided to make these guys!

I said what they were inspired by over on Discord, so I'll say it here now--

The Malk cats are inspired by feral druids in World of Warcraft! I main a feral druid in WoW, and I just love the nature aesthetic of druids. A lot of the feral forms also have nature woven into them, so I really wanted to make some planty cats with fangs!


As for the dragons, they have a dual inspiration to them. The first being elements (water, fire, arcane, nature, earth, and air) and the second being the same as the Malk cats-- World of Warcraft! More specifically the Dragon Aspects in WoW.

The black/fire fella is inspired by the black dragon aspects (Neltharion and Ebyssian)
The arcana/purple fella is inspired by the blue dragon aspects (Malygos and Kalecgos)
The water/blue fella is inspired by both the blue dragon aspects and the storm aspect (Vyranoth)
The red/air fella is inspired by the red dragon aspect (Alexstrasza)
The ground/brown/yellow fella is inspired by the bronze aspect (Nozdormu)
The green/nature fella is inspired by my favorites, the emerald dragon aspects (Ysera and Merithra)

I love this theme a lot, and knew I wanted to make some things inspired by WoW once it was chosen! :3
