Why and when did people start to think that the 08 second gens were worth rares? =/

Seriously- they've always been kind of hated, so why are they so ridiculously set at such high values nowadays?

I think I've entered a time warp or something.

I've seen someone with them in a group being traded for very rares only..... What happened to make their value increase so much?

They're 2008s, and being that old makes they're value go up. Plus, most of the 2008s are going rare. Anyways, this doesn't really belong in this topic, so...

It was a question over rarity, one that I myself recently thought to ask- I didn't think it didn't belong here. Is there a Past Rarity Change List/Discussion topic?

Makes sense, with the amount of newer users joining since 08. But really, it startled me- I hoard second gens, so I have tons of the older ones in stock. I remember back when people were trying to get rid of them and they were the least desired trade pets. ^^;
