Jasmine enjoys the thrill of trying new things and pushing her body to its limits. In theory, this is a good thing for a dog who specializes in herding other animals. And in the beginning her trainers absolutely loved how willing Jasmine was to throw herself into the thick of things. The problems started when others realized that she has no idea when to slow down or stop. She has absolutely zero idea of personal safety. She comes across an angry cow? She's likely to provoke it into charging or trampling her. There's a fence or some other obstacle in her way? She's going to try and jump over it, even if there's no way for her to make it to the other side. The only thing bigger than Jasmine's ambitions are the vet bills that she creates.
Despite her inherent recklessness, she's actually a pretty cool dog to hang around. Her pack mates enjoy sitting and listening to the countless stories that Jasmine has to tell. She's never been one to brag, and when she screws something up she's always willing to come forward, apologize, and tell everyone exactly what went wrong. It's not unusual for her to turn up in the middle of the afternoon covered in dirt and bruises, grinning while sheepishly apologizing for whatever trouble she's just gotten herself into. She does best with experienced handlers and patient dogs who can take a bit of a hit.

Sasha is a collie who tends to throw herself into things with her whole heart. Having a strong protective streak and an almost painfully empathetic heart, Sasha finds purpose in giving her all to her loved ones and lives to see them happy. Ever since she was small she's found happiness in closeness and helping others, and since she's grown it's become her greatest joy. Sasha realized she has a penchant for "adopting" those she feels are in need of family. She really cant help it- especially when she sees others her age with no support or close friends something in her just screams to befriend them. Great at worming her way into hearts - especially when the other collie acts like they wont give in- she's got a weird way of breaking down walls. That's not to say she doesn't struggle with anything herself - Sasha struggles with general anxiety and tends to burn herself out by not giving herself enough rest. She feels incredibly lucky that her little found family pack gives back every bit of love and always rally around her when she needs the support. Making her stubborn self take a rest isn't easy but they're well aware that she's weak for them. She loves falling asleep surrounded by (or being squished by) her loved ones, knowing that everyone is happy, together, and safe. Outside of just her pack, Sasha really enjoys swimming and being in the water, collecting interesting rocks, feathers, bones, and other trinkets, and scrounging around for fallen fruit in the orchard. For all of her enthusiasm though, she's thankful that she cannot compete in conformation as she has a hard time sitting still when bored.

Chiaroscuro grew up as the odd-one-out of a litter of four rambunctious puppies. Her jet black coat immediately shocked everyone at Quail Hollow the day that she was born, and continued to do so as a small patch of pure white vitiligo spotting developed over her eye. She was a stunning pup, and everyone thought that she would surely blossom into a spirited, social butterfly from all the attention her uniqueness would bring her. She was even being considered for service dog work, or possibly therapy dog training... Instead, however, it became very clear that Chiaroscuro was not one for the spotlight pretty early on in her life. She quickly becomes overwhelmed in busy social settings and would much rather quietly keep to herself as much as possible. When pressed to come out of her shell, she will instead revert further.
Despite her initial aloofness, in very small groups, Chiaroscuro blossoms into a warm and intelligent individual - but only when given enough time and space to open up on her own terms. She is an extremely loyal friend and very attentive listener, often giving great advice to those that she trusts with her wisdom.
Intentionally keeping her circle small, she truly pours her heart and soul into the friendships she keeps. She often needs to take an entire day to herself after spending time with loved ones and advising friends to reset, - but they always know she'll be back when she's ready.

Fox and Swift used to antagonize each other (fox sure has a set of lungs much to swifts horror) but now they are attached at the hip, most nights they can't sleep without the comfort of their familiar routine
