Delaney was staring at the ceiling when she heard footsteps coming into the loungue. She turned her head and saw Ann. "Hi there," she said.

"That's cool," Sky thought to Cassie. "Just so you know, you can speak to me in your mind. Just think it and I'll hear it. As long as it's thought to me I hear it. And by the way, my name is Sky."

[Ambrehhh]

"cool im cassie if you didnt already figure that out" cassie thought

[Begonia]

Ann paused as she turned and saw a girl speaking to her. Taking a couple looks behind her shoulder, she made sure the girl wasn't talking to anyone else. "Oh, um, hello there. I'm Ann, nice to meet you," she blurted out all at once, offering the girl her hand quickly. "Your name is?"

Drew took a good look around as he silently tip-toed his way to a corner of the room. There were a bunch of girls in here, which was a good sign for him. He could sit here all day if he wanted to.

"I didn't know," Sky thought. "You didn't tell me."

[Ambrehhh]

"well its cassie" cassie said "i can also freeze time" she thought

"Cool," Sky thought. "I can fly and control light."

[Ambrehhh]

"really!" cassie thought sounding surpirsed "how is flying?" she thougth "i think id give up one of my powers to be able to fly" she thought again

Delaney stuck her hand out and shook her hand. "Nice to meet you too, Ann. I'm Delaney." She said giving a small, friendly smile. "So what power or powers do you have?" she asked, raising her eybrows in curiosity.

Ann smiled back a sort of half smile. She could feel her palms sweating already. Curse her, for acting like this around strangers. "I can convert sound into energy blasts," she said. Ann did like her power, but sometimes it seemed like she would never use it. "What's yours?"
