Mayia forced a smile herself, but pulled her hand back and clutched it with her other hand. "Y-You're welcome..." She said lowly. She hadn't even shaken the hands of her other guild members. She was confused, and kind of tired from having done the send off for Destier. Hunter rubbed up against Mayia's side and she smiled a true smile as she ran her hand over his fur. Mayia just loved to spend time with Hunter, and being able to be at his side again made her less nervous. "Maybe we can go somewhere soon." Mayia said quietly and gently down to Hunter, but he turned her down. With a little sigh, Mayia frowned and nodded back to Hunter, lowering herself back down to her knees.

Mayia was a bit unhappy that Hunter wanted her to stay, but she sat where she was anyway, occassionally looking back at Destier's body. The poor old grey. But he lived a full life with a loving owner, so it should be just fine. Looking back at Ero, examining his pointed ears, Mayia wondered why elves were magical... He didn't look all that strange or mystical... Just some guy with pointy ears. "... So... Why are your easrs pointed like that?..." Mayia asked very cautiously. She couldn't help but be curious about Ero's ears, the only feature she could find that defined him from being human.

Ero leaned back against the barn wall, frowning slightly. "Well....I'm not sure. That's just something about an elf...I guess. Like I said, I don't know much about myself....who and what I am, since I grew up alone." He murmured, his gaze staring off down at ground. He hated talking about his past. It brough back terrible memories that he hoped would never resurface. But they did...they came back to him during the darkest nights...when he was alone. That's how he was almost his whole life, until he met Pita. Alone. He hated that word...hated the feelings it brought on with it. He sighed softly, glancing up at Mayia, then back down at his hands.
