Lantana loves being crafty; when they’re awake, they spend all their time making something. It’ll be different each day. One day, they’re baking a cherry pie with a beautiful lattice on top. Next, they’re sewing from a vintage pattern they’ve thrifted. Creating something from nothing is, to them, the best feeling in the world. They like to save fabrics from bargain bins, who cares if it’s a stained tablecloth, you can sew a patch on top of the stain!

Their love language is gift giving; if they’re fond of you, they will create the perfect item for you for your birthday: edible, wearable, or just a fun trinket. They’ve got ALL the craft supplies; just don’t ask to see their craft room… It’s a mess! The only thing they can’t do is crochet. It’s just too complicated, knitting is much easier for them.

The best gift you can give Lantana is a random bag of supplies you no longer want. Broken necklaces, loose beads, half used paints, yarn and fabric scraps… They love it all, and they’ll always remember where they came from. They could make a necklace with one of your beads, and always point out that one special bead came from you.

Night World does not have many loved ones left but they still smile when they see the night sky. It reminds them of a time when they were young, they would explore the greasy hills at night when the stars shine on down. They would be told stories of the past and myths that might be true. With the past in the past from when they were small, in time now they look up and see the night sky reminds them of the past and the stories that brought them joy when they were younger. They now find joy telling those stories and myths of the past to others as it brought them self-joy and they wish to do the same with others and bring them joy with stories of the night sky. Stories that say why the night sky shines and where the dragons rest at the end of the day. For Night World the stories that are shared though the night bring them joy knowing a story is something that will never be forgotten they might change over time as they get told day to day but in the end the story mostly stays the same never changing the meaning every story has and the joy one story can bring to another.

"hime" / it

hime loves collecting all kinds of fabric scraps !! it also has an affinity for all types of stuffing, especially down feathers and cotton. why though? because it believes that one day, one of the creations they make will come alive !! they make little creatures made with fabric scraps, hoping that one day it will wake up and it'll find a creature running around their room floor. hime likes to think it was made by some higher being stitched from their favorite fabrics, thus it was their calling to learn and do the same. it considers sewing and collecting fabrics its favorite hobby as well, whenever it has free time you will find it sewing together something new entirely from scratch, just give it an idea and hime will work its magic !! it also like to make outfits for its best friend, loolah, which is sometimes a challenge because loolah is allergic to some kinds of fabrics...

oh and speaking of loolah, hime adores loolah !! they are best friends, two nistas made entirely of materials, so they get along very well. they do everything together, almost as they are twins (hime likes to think so !!) they also look out for each other, and always look forward to teatime together (always sweet teas and biscuits).

"loolah" / it

loolah dashes straight to the teacup rides, dragging hime with it !! it reminds them of their teatime together, except now it can be inside the teacups, with the lovely music and laughter of all the nistas around it !! after spinning and spinning for almost an hour, it will run to the games, so it can win prizes for hime and vice versa. it loves winning the plushies and candy as prizes the most, oh and of course all of the many balloons it can carry (and hopefully not float away). it swears that if carnivals didn't have to close for the night, it would stay there all day just to play.

it always goes to the merry-go-round at the end, perhaps the best for last? it certainly does keep the hyperactive loolah a bit calmer, after running around frantic around the carnival to do absolutely anything it can get its hands on. it always picks the elephant, while hime picks the horse. the only thing that stops loolah is not having enough carrying space between it and hime to carry all the goodies and prizes. next time, loolah will bring a bunch of bags and even a wagon to carry its things...

carnivals hate to see loolah coming !!
