You approach the barracks. Within, you can see any number of tough-looking simas preparing weapons and practicing drills inside. You hesitantly step forward to enter as well, when a heavy metal chain flies through the air and wraps around your arm.

"Here to test your mettle, are you?" someone says, stepping out from behind you. You hadn't even seen them! Their jewel glows with the same color as the chain—they must be controlling it. "Many young warriors come here to prove themselves, but only a few can claim true glory. Do you think you measure up?"

You study the simas within the barracks. Sure, a lot of them look awfully powerful and experienced... but you have your own tricks up your sleeve, and you're confident in your abilities. You nod at the veteran sima, and they return it with a wry sort of smile. It seems you've passed some sort of unspoken test.

"Welcome to the Tournament," they say. "I'd wish you luck, but, well... if you're a true Champion, you won't need it."

Rules:
