Q: Do I need to answer prompts in order?
A: No! You can answer prompts in absolutely any order you feel like ^^

Q: Can I post multiple forms in one post?
A: Yes, absolutely! In fact, we'd encourage this to prevent spam. We do, however, ask that you limit yourself to about 5 prompts per post, to reduce staff workload and ensure your prompts aren't missed by mistake. We also discourage editing your post too far after initially posting it, as results are tallied by staff gradually and your edits may be missed.

Q: May I include decorative/supporting elements in my prompt that I didn't make myself?
A: In a small capacity, yes! Specifically, including existing song lyrics, poetry, etc. in your work when relevant is alright! Just be sure the work you're quoting is CS legal, provide credit, and subtract this from your word total. Dividers / decorative coding elements you didn't draw yourself are okay as well, but please ensure you have the right to use these images and credit them appropriately.

Q: What does "art/writing may not be reused" mean?
A: In short, if you're already submitted a piece of art/writing somewhere else in Stars, it can't be resubmitted for double credit! For example, a nursery prompt from an accepted nursery ticket can't be reused on a new ticket (or any other mechanic). Explore writing cannot be resubmitted to the quest board or prompts. Blurbs written for event participation can't be put into explore. Past quest board responses may not be reused in prompts, etc. and so on. If you did not submit a piece of past art/writing anywhere (e.g. character/lore profiles you filled out in your own time), you may submit it for credit here or elsewhere one time.

Q: What does account-locked mean?
A: Account-locked items cannot be traded/gifted between users! They are bound to the account that purchased them. When an account-locked item is applied to a cat (new or pre-existing), the cat becomes account-locked for a year from the date the edit is approved. This means that the cat cannot be traded/gifted for a full year.

Q: May I collab with another user on my prompt response?
A: Yes and no. Yes, you may work together with another user to make two separate -- but linked -- prompt responses. However, you cannot co-write/draw the same piece of writing/art together, as it becomes too difficult for staff to ensure both users met the minimum requirements and give you appropriate credit.

Q: What if a prompt doesn't fit my lore?
A: You're welcome to think outside the box a little! So long as your response is answering the prompt in a way which is honest to your lore, you can adjust it as needed. For instance, if your cats don't hunt but a prompt asks about hunting, think about other methods of food/energy collection. You're welcome to ask for help/advice from the community in finding a lore-relevant way of reading a prompt, too! If a prompt truly doesn't fit your lore at all, there are bonus prompts available you can use as substitutes to still complete a prompt category.
