this was fair if you valued both pets at 50c$

just by looking at the red cloth is unfair. per the list item thread, the red cloth is worth .25nons or 3 - 4 ma (30 to 40 old rares) ... another list item i see is the jester outfit worth .5ma or 5 old rares, the tomato monsters at 1 old rare each

therye only offering 6 old rares total ... extremely unfair to you and your items

Though technically this seem fair (both dogs are 1 MA afaik), but! How's the demand on a RR Purple Star Bobtail compared to a TD Brown Spotted Cookie? Which one would be easier or harder to trade later? Are RRs valued the same as TDs?

T5 Line Line 7, their RR is 1ma while your TD is 1.5ma
I would have them add on their side to be fair. .5ma or 5 old rares would add up to 1.5ma
TD pets have higher demand

This is a fair trade, though I'd note the demand of your pet vs. theirs. Ik the grinners don't have as much demand & I think the toxic has more demand than both hollies. If they're WL pets I'd do it, otherwise if it's fodder I'd maybe think about it or see if they can offer something of equivalent value that has a bit more demand? Up to you though!

Does anyone know what this pet is currently trading for? I know the demand is pretty high, and I’ve seen a few successful C$ trades for 200-250 C$, but I haven’t seen many pet trades. I see the Pets with Confusing Worth thread also says it’s maybe ~0.3MA - 0.65MA. Would love some advice so that I can offer fair trades.

Well like you said, it does go for around that worth & the thread lists some successful pet trades with that pet involved. Noting that the first one is an outlier/a bit of overpay on their end from what I'm gathering.

That may not be as helpful, but what I can do is help tell you what you could get with the equivalent of 200-250 C$//that dragon's worth.

- You could get some stores pets (depending on what year, anyway. You could go for an older 1 I'm sure).
- 2008/2009 VRs are 100c$ each, so there's an option there. Likely 2008-2012 VRs depending on what you're wanting.
- In rares, you could do a decent bulk trade. 2008/2009 is worth 40-50C$, 2010-2011 is 25-35C$, etc. You can take a look here to get more of an idea of the range of stuff you could get with the dragon.
- You may also be able to get something on the list depending on what tier you're going for (definitely in the rerelease area though)

Idk if any of that is helpful, if not then I'm sorry since that's the best that I could do 😭

would like some help with calculating the values in C$ for these items if possible

i know that the orange butterfly wings are from the store (extra parts + markings pg1) and are 4C$ each but are not limited. the speech bubbles, lead, bowls and chicken o's are i believe free items, im thinking of not requesting C$ for those and instead viewing them as free add-ons instead. any advice on this and possibly help with how much C$ could be asked in return for the rest?

I'll say right now the hamsters are a 1:1 from the same litter as it is but I'm assuming you're both trying to actively work out a trade that's fair on both sides.

Contacts & boba drinks are from valentine's 2021
Steampunk dress is halloween 2024
Gummy worms are halloween 2022
Presents are Valentines 2019
Texts are from the cave event 2021 (this one was avoiding me like the plague heh)

The general rule of thumb that I've seen is the items are valued at a UC-EUC of the year they came out if they're older or have more demand. Since these aren't too old and don't have any special demand, I'll be calculating them as a C-UC.

C: 0.5-2C$ x17 | 8.5-34 c$
UC: 1-3C$ x17 | 17-51

Total: 8.5-51 c$.

Up to you what you want to calculate them as but I'd personally stick to the common end (aside from maybe the background & steampunk dress, you could go for the UC value of those I'd think?)

As far as any other advice.. if you don't want c$ then I'd check out Horror's guide and see what you could ask that is within that range pet-wise. ^^
