Tidepool Clan makes their home in a tranquil coastal bay. Agile and sure-footed, the members of the clan leap effortlessly across slick stones to reach their nests hidden in the safety of the sea cave just above the high tide line. Their days are shaped by the rhythm of the ocean, fishing in the ocean, hunting for crabs among the tidepools, and sunning themselves on warm rocks. From a young age, kits are guided into the shallow waters, as the ability to swim is the most valued skill among the clan.

ShineClan resides up in high altitudes, where the earth near greets the sky. There they have made their camp within old burrows and caves that lead underground.
Ranks
Leader
The overseer and face of the clan, granted 9 lives by Starclan and fully dedicated to serving the clan no matter what. The leaders duty can be strenuous, and because of such it is inevitable that some cats retire early from this position. When this happens, often the next upcoming leader will take instead whatever remaining lives the previous leader had lost, rather than a full 9. Most Shineclan leaders, however, are hardy cats built by the difficult terrain they live in, and hardly need to rely on the advantage of lives.
Deputy
Second in command to the leader, tasks such as planning patrols often falls under the Deputies duties. This position is one of the most important ones in the clan, as the cat is in line to be the next leader, and Shineclan is rather unique in its clanwide trial and voting system to chose the next Deputy, rather than the traditional of it being solely chosen by the Leader. When a deputy falls, their life given is treated with not just grief, but with honor and celebration for the life they lived, and the trial is a way to pay respect to the memory of them.
