Aneira - elder - female

Hanging suspended in a sky of dove grey, casting rays of soft yellow through the clouds, the sun embraces Aneira—tepidly. A gentle breeze playfully ruffles her fur, which spurs her into movement.

She unfurls from her ball; like an autumn leaf. As she glances around the grassy clearing, blinking away sleep, it dawns on Aneira that she’s one of the last wolves awake. How did she manage to oversleep again?

With a grunt, she rises to her paws, and wanders in the direction of the pack’s cave. Behind her, the sun withdraws as a threatening inky colour floods the sky.

"Ah... how did I get stuck with such a good apprentice?" She thought calmly to herself. She then padded out of the den and spotted her son Nook and greeted him silently with a smile and tail wag. She then spots Aneira and trots to her. "Aneira! How are you doing?"

Nook's ears perk up at Keenaa's voice, "Oh, uhm...Good-good morning Keenaa, do you and my mother need any prey?". "OH GOSH, OH GOSH! I SOUNDED SO WEIRD! AND IT'S SUPER OBVIOUS THAT THEY NEED PREY UGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH" He chaotically thought to himself.

“Valory. Good morning,” a soft smile spread over her muzzle. Aneira had always admired the shaman, captivated by the idea of the paranormal. As she greeted Valory with a wag of her tail, she found herself peering into her eyes. Did the shaman actually see visions, or did they visit her during sleep? During her time, she had seen numerous wolves ascend to the title of shaman, yet the true nature of the role remained elusive.

She spared a fleeting glance behind Valory towards the cave. Emerging from the mountainside, shrouded by weathered trees and their gnarled branches, resided the pack’s cave. The mouth of the cave spread wide, baring its stalacites: threatening to swallow her whole. Gods, she despised that cave. How do the other wolves not feel trapped in there?

“I’m doing well, thank you. Have you had any visions recently?” Aneira asked, her tone light, yet laced with unease. She locked her gaze onto Valory, searching for answers. “This rain storm sounds like trouble.”

"No, but I have a feeling that one is coming soon, this is one of the worst rain storms we've had" She said back, with a slightly worried look on her face. "But, hey! The storm may be a good thing- the plants will be well grown meaning more herbs for us and mini prey has been wandering into our cave which gives us more food, especially for all the pups." She says, her face being replaced with a look of hope.

As Hermit waits for a reply, he hears a wet scurry from a crack in the wall. It's a rat! He then leaps at it and dispatches it with his paw. "Here, have this prey" He says, picking the rat up in his teeth and holding it out to Keenaa.

The slender reddish furred she wolf was still sleeping. She’d been curled up, but now the darker eared one stretched out on her side. Her darker tipped tail flicked back and forth gently. Her muzzle seemed to be a bit darker too, just like the ears and tail tip. Deeply brown eyes were shut to the world. Though she was starting to wake.

The slender sandy brown male yawned a bit. His ears twitched and perked, and he looked towards the entrance of the den. He then quickly got up, shaking himself up. Lifting one possibly brownish leg, he pawed at his brownish muzzle. He then pawed at his forehead, rubbing a paw over the darkened brownish streak there. The white bellied and lower chested one then flicked his brownish tipped tail. He quickly headed out of the den. His grayish eyes looked towards the trainee den.

The smaller and slender black phase male flicked his white tipped tail. He also had a white chest splash, and on the middle of his belly. The white jawed one yawned a bit. His ears went back when he did this, then he perked his ears up. He glanced around the den a moment, before standing to his paws then. He stretched, shook himself, looked again, then ran to the entrance. He left the den, golden and darker ambery eyes seeing others. He saw Jackal speaking to Bear, and saw Dingo waiting and looking around.

The lovely little dark brown and white she wolf twitched her ears a bit. Her tail flicked back and forth gently, and she nodded to the other. She tilted her head when the other questioned her. Saying “I…guess I must have been chasing something in my dream, yeah.” She then wagged her tail a bit, as she looked at her. Growing shy and maybe a bit embarrassed when the other mentioned sharing food. She said “I…um…sure.” She nodded quickly at the other she wolf, and let a canine smile like look take over her face.

The golden, brownish and white she wolf twitched her ears. Her tail flicked back and forth, and she made a sound of amusement. She said “Yes, we do need some prey. Thank you for asking,” she then told him/them, and tilted her head a bit. She watched him then get a rat. She took it from him, saying “Thank you, Nook.”

The beautiful white female, with gray over her back and darker guard hairs mixed in there, shook her head again. Ambery eyes glanced to her mate, as she heard a thump. She shook her head, seeing the prey he had dropped there. She flicked her tail back and forth, and looked to the pups. She nudged at Shiro a bit, trying to get him to actually wake up now, as he seemed to be being stubborn. She squeaked when Mall licked her. Feeling warm as he called her Little mate, which she’d always loved. She nipped at him but gently, not trying to harm him. It was a way she had of showing affection to the male. She nodded as she looked at her mate. She nodded when he said he wanted to have breakfast with her. She allowed him to nuzzle against her shoulder. She noticed his tail thumping against the ground. Her own tail swept back and forth, then she looked to Shiro. She nosed and nudged him again, until she succeeded getting him to get up.

The adorable white pup twitched very pale creamy ears. He whined a bit, when his mother nosed and nudged at him again…This time, she seemed to be trying to wake him. Before, she’d just been nosing and nudging him because she was being affectionate, or such. His little tail swept back and forth against the ground. He whined again, and kicked out his paws. Then blinked open his ambery eyes, finally. He stared up at his parents…then shook his head as he looked to his two sisters.

The smaller and slender golden eyed wolf noticed Vulkan slipping away. He tilted his head, as he saw Grimm had seen this as well. He tilted his head because the other was narrowing his eyes…Haku quickly shook his head, and looked away. Before looking back at the other male, whom was now speaking to him. He nodded his head at the other male, saying “I hoped you slept okay.” He then sighed as the other growled when saying the alpha’s name…He nodded, and he said “Okay, that sounds good.”

Lilith slowly blinked the sleep from her eyes aware of her pack mates moving around her. She sighed normally she would be one on the first awake but the feeling of a storm coming always made her fur bristle making it harder for her to get to sleep. She stood and shook the dust from her pelt before making her way out of the den. She saw Hibby and Meena grabbing a rabbit to share and trotted over toward them. "Hello girls I was just about to start putting together the hunting party for today. Hibby I was think you, Anubis, Dingo, and Dawn would come with me to try and track down that caribou we sniffed out the over day. Meena I was hoping you, Jessie, and Estella would stay closer to home and hunt some smaller game." As she spoke she was looking around for her other hunters to let them know the plans for today. And hopefully she would be able to say a quick hello to her brother before she had to head out.

Aria grumbled as she woke up to the sound of Sam and Vulkan leaving. She stretched out her long limbs being careful not to kick any of the other sleeping warriors. Blurrily she stubbled out of the den tripping over a small rock stuck in the dirt and falling flat on her face. "Oh great, now I can't even keep my paws under me." She spat at herself frustrated that she had just fallen in front of the whole pack.
