What's your favourite less popular pet?

Ooh, I have so many. Like this litter of saber-tooth corgis:

They weren't always rare so I don't know if they would really be considered "high demand" but I don't see them on any lists so I'll just consider them normal demand! And then there's this one, my very first pet ever adopted on CS!

I adopted only one at the time, so I can single this one out as my very first pet as he was not adopted in a batch.

There's this little one that reminds me of Joker from Persona 5:

There’s a bunch of underrated pets, and one type of pet I don’t get that aren’t really popular are draft horses. Like their big horses but I know they’re not really a very popular pet—- also a bunch are OMGSC- extremely common, but I’ll post some from my collection that I love, and like how can you hate them.

This one, I wanna get the others but I adore Chinese themed pets, I love the ink painting style for this guy and he’s so friendly, plus the symbol on his rear translates to “friend”


Pet's name: 💜Old Lavender🤍

Just a beautiful lavender draft along with this one with lavender flowers. It’s much more likely the Easter rabbit version would be way more popular and also since rabbits are high in popularity.

I adore any black horses since they’re gorgeous in general and I love both of these drafts.

Last draft horse I wanna shout out about was a recent adoption from the pound, I chose them because they reminded me of Maximus from Tangled a bunch even though he isn’t a draft horse, but it has the same energy.

Basically people are sleeping on the draft horses, which is alright and they aren’t the typical OwO cute designs, I just have a tender spot for them.

I have to agree on the draft horses! They are some of my favorite line-art and as a real life horse lover and Major draft fan, they are awesome! I actually have a hoard of Maximus and his litter mates, the red roan and dapple gret being my favorite! Some of my favorites!

Most of my fave stuff is actually "less popular". I like the list stuff/URs mostly due to nostalgia at this point but most of the stuff aren't faves of mine. And sure there are plenty of awesome stores and popular event stuff out there and lots of those are definitely amongst my faves.
But there are so many absolutely awesome pets out there that aren't popular, just old overlooked regular monthlies. If most of your faves are rares+, list stuff, stores, etc then you just like rares rather than the design, whatever floats your boat.

This group and this group has a decent selection of stuff I like, they're definitely not a comprehensive list of all of my faves though! I don't really keep a faves group, so they're just scattered about in my collection.
But especially "The Feel Good Guys" which is my hoard group, full of 20 pet hoards of pets I love and adore, it's a mix of popular and less popular stuff too but no lists/super rares (mostly because I refuse to spend valuable trading fodder on a hoard).
And the other group "A Final Home" is a pound pet hoard, mixed in with the odd gifted pet here and there. Not all faves in there but whenever I catch the pound open and I don't find something else I need (like a missing regular or a hoard pet) then I just grab whatever catches my eye and toss it in there, so it still decently represents my taste in pet designs.

Here are a few highlights:

Love and adore pink. Anything in this shade of pink or similar is just perfect, you'll find a lot of pink stuff in my two groups <3


Also a really big fan of a pink + orange color combo! I have several pets with these two colors in my hoard group <3


This guy always makes me pause whenever I run through my hoard group, I love him <3


I LOVE moth wolves and realistic butterfly wolves! There have been a few litters over the years and I love and adore them all <3
I love most of the realistic pets too to be fair! Always amongst my faves. Mostly pets based on realistc animals (with or without line-edits, but line-edits are typically fairly popular, so they don't count here) but also pets based on realistic plants, mushrooms, rocks/gems, natural phenomena, space etc. are also always good! <3


These four and their littermates are special to me <3
I LOVE christmas and these four litters are some of the few that are representative of christmas in my neck of the woods. I especially love anything with pleated hearts, they are uniquely Danish which I am. Unfortunately we don't get a lot of those beautiful hearts on CS. I've suggested and wished for an item pack of them for so many years but have given up by now... I sincerely hope we get a pack of them one day, it would make me so happy then I can finish Yuletide's dress-up (which I also just need to update honestly, dog needs a rug or something!) D:


I know this otter litter was very popular this Easter, but the EPPS was definitely the most popular, so I'll add this boy here too. This guy hit me right in the feelings when he dropped. I have a bunny plushie too that I've had since I was a few months old. Still have him to this day, he's been with me for 30+ years at this point and he's showing the wear and tear too. I don't think I've ever connected with a CS pet emotionally as hard as I did with this otter <3

Same here! I have a whole group dedicated to pink-orange combos along with a separate group dedicated to just the pinkest of pets! My Sunrise Favourites is probably what I consider my most favorite pets although I do have several favorites scattered in other groups as well!

I also agree with just liking pets for their designs rather than rarity sake! I have a good mix of very common and some of my favorites are on the rarer side but I really go with vibes, and stuff that makes me happy ^w^
