Pound Account page Pets tab reroutes to homepage?

Has this been a intentional development to prevent people from viewing what is in pound? I am happy if thats the case, but wanted to make sure its not a issue on my end

From the mid-month update third post down on the home page:
"- There has been some speculation about users cheating to get an unfair advantage from the pound. We want to assure you that it is not possible to adopt a pet that didn't load into your page. However, we've been monitoring some of the issues related to the pound, and after weighing the pros and cons we ultimately decided to hide the pound pets being released from view. This was decided in an effort to make things more fair for all users."
