WHAT IF.. prince who recently rose to power after parents, the former queen and king, mysteriously died (were they murdered?? question mark?), but he was born blind and suffers from a chronic illness, so the public isn't all that confident in his ability to rule them, leaving the empire unstable, which is WORSENED because the prince is surrounded by a sea of political enemies all of coveting his power.. BUT!! there's also this brooding mysterious knight who has served the crowned prince since childhood as his highly trained personal guard, who alone recognizes the eminent danger and is determined to protect the prince at all costs, but is also maybe secretly in love with the prince (and has always been)!?!?!
