This one is known, but it may be fading into obscurity since it's been so long - I remember it well because I was affected by it. In June 2010 one of the three zebra outcomes was accidentally made much easier to adopt than it should have been, so a ton of people ended up adopting a zebra at rollover. The red variants of the 2011 coats and elf hats were accidentally doubled

Adoption limits were 4 and 3 respectively, but every time the red variants were received (the ones shown here), they were doubled. It was fixed I think about an hour later for the coats and really quickly for the hats.

Whoever put in the outcome numbers for the new years balloon smushed 1 and 2 (2025)

Previously the garland was also by a smushed 2 and 3
(2024)

None of these extra items (coats, hats, balloons, garland) were deleted

huh, apparently i have one of the borked wigs. a true relic.

also, i remember the xat! it stemmed a lot of unofficial CS themed chats (including for the FTT at one point) and they were both a vibe and also lawless. good times. sometimes i miss chatting to everyone like that but can understand they're super difficult to moderate.

not simon but i think i may be able to help answer :p i do believe that most are intentional with some outliers. for example, my draft litter of may 2024 wasn't supposed to have the split in the shire baby stage! the paint outcome had just been forgotten and in order to add it in, a split had to be made, thus making those two outcomes more rare than had been originally intended

ohh interesting !! makes me wonder how many times there's been tiny errors in the adopt creation process that the general public doesn't know about xD

every time i see forum posts from me pre-2015 I feel like I take damage.

I remember there was a CS pet pairs where romantasy existed before the genre became officially published (joking) - once Tess gave some wedding dress sets to those who wrote good stories. I got a red wedding dress set and I remember I was BUZZIN

that was a fun thread.

Haven't seen this posted yet, but back when I bought stickers in 2015, the envelope had a sticker on it and a picture of the dog lineart next to each address (which I've edited out). I ended up keeping the envelope because I thought the design was cute.

A fun thing to add to your pound history section could be the old "message from your pet" that mentioned euthanasia.

I didn't realize the "put to sleep" comment was removed after I blocked those messages, do you know when it was removed? It seems like it was still continuing in April 2017.


EDIT: forgot to mention, there's an instagram account (@chickensmoothie_official) that sometimes hosts giveaways and contests. I actually got a runner up prize for one once.
