Theme 2 prompt: They want to wake me up, which is very rude.
I tell them that they can play a game and I'll have a nap again, and when I wake up, it's time to do some cleaning. That way, they won't want to wake me up and I can have a nice long nap - and when I wake up, I'll say it's too late for cleaning, because I don't want to do it either.




Ahhhh I don't know if I got this in in time to roll today but I did get the post done and completed before day 6 opened, because it was between one check, adjusting a typo, and hitting submit that the day 5 closing post was posted and I didn't want to just have to delete the drawing

Theme 1 prompt: Mercury is excited and heads out, looking high and low until they come back with a sprig of lilac! Purple, the best shade of purple even!
Theme 2 prompt: Kenwei blinks, before looking at the kits with a chuckle. Apparently they are bored, and well, what better way to occupy them than to teach them how to hunt using the old ways? He shows them a few of his favorite trick, and afterwards they all take what they catch and share a good meal together!

Theme 1 prompt: Darcell scampers through the grass, looking for something purple. Maybe a rock or a--oh! He looks up and sees a tree full of purple flowers. These will be the perfect decorations!
Theme 2 prompt: Liz just wants to take a nap. She's been helping to set things up for ages now, so she totally deserves a break. But no, some kits have to bug her. She opens her eyes groggily to see the trio of kits, probably siblings, that have been chanting for her to wake up. When they see she's awake, they cheer. Liz has to acquiesce to their request though--they just really want some help painting their Easter eggs, but there's no more paint and the other adults are too busy with other things to get more. Yeah, this is fine. She'll get them their paint. As long as she gets to nap afterwards!!

Theme 1 prompt: I explored a cave today while looking for purple items, and a few hours into the search I ended up finding some amethysts deep within the cave.
Theme 2 prompt: Though I felt quite tired, I managed to stay alert and ask the kits who approached me what they needed. They asked for a bedtime story, and while I secretly worried I might fall asleep in the middle of the story myself, I agreed. As I began to tell the story, the kits yawned, causing me to yawn as well, but I persevered and was able to continue talking until the last of the kits had fallen asleep, at which point I finally fell asleep as well.

It seems as if all the kits want googly eyes to put on their rocks! I end up getting said googly eyes and helping them put them on the rocks, now all the rocks have silly goggly eyes!

Theme 1 prompt: Purple! Back to the garden! This time lets grab some lilacs. They smell so delightful as well!
Theme 2 prompt: I thought I finally had time to catch up on sleep but instead I'm trying to catch some chicks that escaped the chicken coop. In the end, we caught all the escaped chicks and I lectured the kits on opening up the coop without adult supervision.

Theme 1 prompt: nile lurks around the forest for something purple. smelling a rather nice scent of a rhynchostylis. running back he drops the flowers in a pile and circles around it making odd chittering and rumbling noises.

Theme 2 prompt: nile then takes a nap in a large bed of the flowers he found only to be interrupted from the best sleep of his life by kits bounding up to him, onto him and around him. opening his maw wide he shoots out a spray of water on the kits in an attempt to deter them however the impromptu water gun seems to have caused a water fight. annoyed noises ensue.

Kane grumbled as a group of 3 or 4 kits bounced around him, pawing at his tail and poking his face. Turns out he had laid down right over top of one of their stashes of crystals. Tried as they might, the small kits couldn't budge the large sleeping Sima, they pulled and pushed to no avail. They tried to bribe him with sweet treats from the festival, but he wasn't hungry. They even promised to help him with chores for a whole week in exchange! (a large offer according to these little kits) They thought they had no hope, until Kane let out a large yawn and rolled over in his sleep, giving the kits free access to their precious gems. As the kits happily scampered away, Kane's eye peeked open and a low chuckle left his chest. Kits.

Gabe knew his way around a broom, having worked as a janator for so many years, so being asked to help clean up was no big deal. He would've done it even WITHOUT having been asked. He's a very tidy person. He simply pitched in wherever he could - hauling food trays off to be washed, taking down decorations, packing up leftovers, bagging trash, you name it. Gabe bounced from task to task with the graceful, smiling energy of a man born to clean up a huge, paint-spattered mess.
