What have you missed at the Pound?

Hi there! Not sure if this goes here, but this is just a fun little forum to share various cool pets or items that you saw but sadly missed at the pound! Starting it off, I saw this rare 2009 cat a couple days ago but wasn’t fast enough lol

Oh this is a fun topic, most valuable thing I’ve missed out on was a cheshire cat a couple months ago. I knew it was in the pound for that opening but wasn’t expecting that I’d actually see it so when it turned up on my page my brain bluescreened and I clicked too late (reaction time skill issue). Every so often I’ll think about it and kick myself, but luckily it’s not a dreamie of mine so I wasn’t too bummed about it. Would’ve been useful for trading purposes though!

soooo many store pets! it always takes me a bit to process the c$ watermark and combined with lag i’m rarely fast enough to grab them when they show up. i’ve so far successfully snagged 2 in my almost 4 years on the site but the number i’ve seen and lost out on is much higher!

I did the pound rarity odds for this pound, so I knew the green-fronted holly was there, and that it was a RR so probably wouldn't be the first pet. I was there at open, and it was there on my screen (and I was right, there was a horse ahead of it) and I could have clicked it. But because I keep my WL for things I actually want for myself, it didn't have the WL marker so my brain skimmed right over it looking to see if the calgreyhound store pet was there (which IS on my WL)

By the time my brain caught up to itself, someone else had grabbed it.

I could only laugh, and grabbed the first green pet I saw on the refresh, which was a common rat. And I hope whoever got the holly was someone who really wanted it.

I wholeheartedly still blame CS for this one.
I was a brand spankin' new user, I clicked it... and CS logged me out right as it went to the adopted page.
Never did it before. Never did it again. Still don't know why it did that because I was clearly logged in and did not do some random, one off click.


I still ended up getting one, and a TD (even though I'm sure it was also TD), but yeah... that one is not going away.

Anyhow, few weeks back I saw one of the Carousel store pets in the pound, but someone got it before my brain registered fully what it saw.
