I recommend making a trade thread! The advent event was hard for me because I struggle with consistency (due to neurodivergence) and I work a lot but I was able to pull through by bumping my trade thread. I just listed what I was looking for, what I had, and bumped it every time I logged on or off. ♥

Anyone else having issues with getting all the outcomes from a certain litter? For those who are neurodivergent it can be VERY difficult to expect us to send trade after trade on the monthly / event swap threads, only to have them rejected. I’m missing a lot of pets and I don’t want the pressure of depending on other players to feel like I have a complete set.
I wish CS would change this. It makes me not want to play anymore.

I found CS in 2008 before there were even accounts, if you can believe it! And I was lucky enough to have my adopts transferred into a brand, new, shiny account in Jan 2009.

It took me over 15 years, but I completed my collection, including URs and Store Pets just last year. Maintaining it remains a challenge with varying rarities in monthlies & events.

It’s not a sprint, it’s a marathon. With the wish list feature, it’s so much easier to check if others have what I need, and to see whether I have something tempting enough for them to part with it.

I agree that trading can be difficult. It certainly wasn't very pleasant experience for me, so I decided to not trade anymore. Pound also isn't helpful, I always look which pets are in it and choose for which I want to wait. But the Pound never shows them to me so I don't even get a chance to snatch them. As a result, I learned to enjoy what the fate gives me when I adopt. And it was pretty freeing tbh. No stress, and not depending on others to have good time on this site.

While I empathize with your frustrations, trading is one of the main features of CS, and this is not something we are going to change. There have been a lot of great suggestions from the community in this thread. I hope that these solutions can make your trading experience a bit more pleasant. :)
