Elenwen stood, leaning against the wall in the corner of the stable and watched. A horse had died, Mayia was talking to a wolf, and they were walking around with an elf. She scowled a little to herself, how had she gotten tangled up in all this? She should have never joined these people but then again it wasn't like she had anywhere else to go. She watched as everyone else started talking, no wanting to be noticed, she found herself to be much happier when she was left to her own buiness. Her hair hung infront of her eyes and her black cloak completely hid any spot of colour on her, she looked to be a shadow herself.

Ero

Ero sighed, touching his hood of the cloak. He stood, biting his lip. "He can probably sense that I'm not....human." He almost cringed at his words. He hated acting like he wasn't who he was. He drew back the cowl, and let it fall across his shoulders. Even in the low light, it was quite clear who or what he really was. An Elf.

[Mayiamaru]

Mayia blinked a few times, hearing him say that he wasn't human. "Not... human?..." Mayia repeated quietly watching as Ero pushed mack his hood... Her eyes widened slightly at the pointed ears, Hunter returning to Mayia's side as she marveled at Ero's strange feature. "... W-What.. What are you?..." She asked, holding onto Hunter for comfort. She was a bit more open, now knowing that Ero wasn't human, but Mayia didn't know what an elf was.

Ero

"I'm an Elf....a sort of 'magical-type' creature. We're different from humans in many ways...but similar in more." Ero smiled slightly, wondering if the girl in front of him even knew what an Elf was. He reminded himself that that was certainly not a bad thing. He sighed softly, his strange colored eyes flittering from Hunter, to Mayia. His gaze was gentle and open. Kind and full of compassion. He waited for Mayia's reply with a small smile on his face.

Mayia's eyes glistened lightly with wonderment, listening as Ero explained himself. "A-An elf?..." She repeated cluelessly. She never heard of such a thing, looking down at Hunter hoping that he would know. Hunter began to growl strangely, with a kind of rhythm to it. Mayia was looking at Hunter, listening to his every little sound and being able to put them together as words. "... I-I still don't get it..." Mayia said quietly, putting the crook of her finger to her lip as she tried to put it together. There has to be more to it than a human with pointy ears.

((Would it be okay if I jumped back in by having Vistrana come out from the corner? I've been terribly inactive, in all the threads I post in, and I'm trying to get back in my groove. Once I get the okay from Symphonia and Nephilim, I'll edit her personality a bit, but for now I'll just keep trying how it is.))

Ero sighed softly, shrugging. "I'm not sure how to explain elves...just that we're not human." He murmured to her, a sad, distant look coming to his face. "I-I was never raised with my kind." He admited softly, his voice sounding like he was almost talking to himself, rather then Mayia. He got quiet, his strange grey/blue eyes staring sadly at the floor. Good memories were wonderful...but bad memories were curses....

Mayia watched Ero quietly as he spoke about how he was raised. He seemed almost as timid as she was as he said that he was not raised with other elves... She found it slightly sad... At the least he knew how he was raised. Cautiously, she raised herself to her feet and took a step forwards, looking to the floor, to the walls, and then at Ero again, Hunter standing at her side. Hestitantly, Mayia held out her hand to Ero, looking at the floor. "... Welcome to the guild..." She said quietly. She felt like she could trust Ero, since it was almost like he was brought here under the same circumstances that she had been. She just couldn't decide anymore, so at least she could welcome him.

Ero smiled shyly, taking her hand in a handshake. "Thank you, Mayia." He murmured quietly, his grey/blue eyes shinning with happiness. He hadn't expected this timid girl to do something like this, and it made him feel truely welcome. A flash of sadness and wariness came over him again. Most times...if an elf was spotted, they were either chased, captured, killed, or worse. They weren't liked in most parts of the world...
