Carolina Shepherd Easter Event
Happy Easter! We are having an egg hunt where each egg you find will get you a raffle entry for one of the special rabbit or chicken themed adopts. There are ten different eggs (beautifully designed by Julius525 - thank you!) to find hidden around the Carolina Shepherds pages on chickensmoothie!
New for 2025:
We've received feedback that some eggs last year were too hard to find, and given that we now have almost 1,800 pages of Carolina Shepherds (not to mention other forum threads), we've decided to make it a bit easier to find the eggs this year! Eggs will be hidden in any of the following locations:
>In any posts that are acting in an official capacity (ie the posts linked in the above header, events, competition results, confirming dog transfers, confirmation of bank purchases, etc) or on dog pages. For example, an egg may be hidden in a competition results post, but it will not be hidden in a staff member's post entering their Carolina Shepherds into competitions.
>Eggs will only be hidden on dog pages (all dogs from the adopts, nursery, and customs pages) from 2024-2025. Eggs may also be hidden on dog pages from 2023 and earlier if they are linked from an official post. For example, B-0180's page would be considered a valid place to hide an egg even though they are from 2022 because they are linked on the genetics page as an example of the agouti marking. This comment is an example of a place where an egg may be found as Julius525 is making a post in an official capacity, however, the egg will not be hidden on C-0010's page. Eggs will be hidden only on older dogs linked in the main post(s).
Submit the links to the eggs you have found here (google forms link - no email required).
If you don't find all ten eggs don't worry! You will still be entered for the adopts whose eggs you have found. Please note that you can only submit the form once, so please be sure that you've found all ten eggs or you are done searching for the eggs.
The event will end on 4/20 at approximately 1700 eastern time (UTC-4).
