Another year with no april fool's event.

yeah i wish there was a bit more to the event. im glad we got pets and items, but my fave april fools was def 2017. it wasnt even that crazy either, the forum board changed which users could easily change back if they didnt like it. i thought it was a cute event. you can still switch to that theme so it wasnt even something that lasted “only” 24 hrs.

something like that would be nice, or heck drop more bbs pets!! i miss those lil guys. omg could you imagine a new permanent theme dropping each year on april fools, that would be so cool

As an nd person, I have some processing issues which can make navigating forums on any site difficult ,but that doesn’t mean I can’t enjoy some silliness every once in a while! I feel like cs could easily add a toggle for an event. The adoptables are nice,but it’s not really doing much for me in comparison to what other games are currently offering. Heck,even having a new background would have been fine and could’ve easily been swapped.

Having no event over accessibility doesn’t really feel inclusive to me personally as someone who would’ve been affected by an event like this. It feels more like I’m having something taken away when the event itself could’ve just been made to have a toggle to help me out if I needed,but that’s just how I personally feel about it.

as someone who enjoyed the pranks, but understand why they can make navigating the site difficult for other people, I agree and think a toggle would be awesome if it comes back in the future! obv there's time constraints and ppl have live so I'm not pressed about it, but if it does come back, I think a toggle would be a great middle ground.

Considering that most of the people I've seen on this site are adults or at least older teens, all this complaining is kind of immature. CS is just a free, silly game for people to collect pets and hang out. I haven't been here very long but I am COMPLETELY fine with not having some silly forum pranks because the staff is busy and it may make some people uncomfortable. I'm happy that we even got an April Fools event and really love all the pets (especially the kitties!). The suspicious hat is hilarious and enough of a prank for me. Like some people have said, I wouldn't mind them doing something bigger and having a toggle so people could turn it off (because honestly some of the previous pranks people have been talking about sound like they would bother me) but I'm also totally fine with them not doing anything more than silly pets and items.

Not to sound harsh but if a bunch of ADULTS are complaining about a petty, 24-hour-event that the staff aren't even obliged to create, ya'll need to take a break from the internet. Like many other users have said, the staff work so hard on this FREE game as it is; let's try being grateful for what we got instead of this childish complaining.

i think the year with the googly eyes was my first april fools on cs and the only one i remember having a visible ‘prank’. i thought it was cute especially since it ended w/ them as items and i wouldn’t mind seeing something like that again that wouldn’t be super intrusive or confusing especially w/ an opt out button- i actually missed the hat prank this year cause i didn’t think to put it on anybody right away. but i would also never say that a lack of april fool’s content would ruin my experience on the site or demean the staff for their decision. *shrug emoji*

I’m all for accessibility, but I think a better solution would be to have an option to toggle off the event in settings for those who would prefer not to have any sudden change!

The hats still work, so you didn't even miss out on the prank - just put them on different adult species! =)

I think maybe a toggle to turn off the prank on April fools could be a decent solution to both arguments. Though, I can see it possibly being hard to code
