VASTRALS || WEEKLY PROMPTS PT 1

( PROMPT :: rain showers bring may flowers! are your vastrals starting to notice the shift to spring? is it their favorite season? or does it bring them allergies? let us know what they think about springtime! )

Spring has to be one of Bellamy’s favorite seasons. Despite his allergies, which can be almost crippling at times, this persistent Vastral finds himself desperate to explore the wilderness this time of year. Bellamy can be found snoozing in the trees, on the shoreline, or even an open field, always keeping an eye out for freshly blooming flowers. He can even be found caring to some of the plant life that’s struggling to grow, anywhere from replanting to watering. His green thumb makes him a great botanist, even if the pollen makes him sneeze! The highest form of a compliment from this Vastral is a bouquet of flowers: he doesn’t give them to just anyone.

Aside from the allure of flowers, Bellamy is obsessed with the wildlife. All the new creatures waking up and getting ready for the summer is nothing short of intriguing to him, from their habits to their demeanors. A pair of binoculars and an animal encyclopedia stays on his person at all times, making it easy for this vastral to identify and learn new facts on the go. His favorite animal? Bellamy loves rabbits! Something about their big feet, beady eyes, and fluffy bodies meet all of this vastral’s standards.

RESPONSE :: the pair of siblings grew giddy with the explanation of bellamy's green thumb. the two caring for a host of garden plots and fields themselves made this sharing especially thoughtful. buckwheat nodded along with the allergy statement, he too having dealt with some sneezing that kickstarted recently. huckleberry smiled sheepishly to herself while bellamy explained his love for animals, especially rabbits. maybe one day they could go searching for some bunnies in the forest together, her favorite past-time was filling her field journal with sketches of animals and scenery. thanks for sharing!

TRAIL RIDES

Pebble curiously lifts her nose to the air, taking in the new smells of Spring. With an excited snort she was off, the birds whistling song of encouragement to her as she made her way along the new trail. Pebble found 3 Easter Eggs!

DAY 2 :: POST || RESULT
Feeling confident after her previous run-in with easter eggs on the trail, Pebble whinnied in excitement as she took off once again. With a breeze in her hair and the sun gleaming down on her and her rider, she was nothing short of ecstatic for her outing today. What would they find this time? Pebble found 3 Easter Eggs!
