Blackstar lay the kit down once he entered hte den in an unoccupied nest and lay down beside her, still purring. "Go to sleep Spottedkit. I promise that you will feel better after." He whispered.

Leopardfrost joined her with her nose pressed against the dead warrior's cooling fur, not sure what to do about this.

[Rosalind]

Spottedkit nestled into Blackstar's fur, and was soon fast asleep with a tiny little kit purr coming out. Her shivers died out as she fell asleep, and soon the only movement was that of her little breaths.

Appleberry closed her eyes and thought of the last time she had seen Sunflame.

[Keriae]

Blackstar watched her, her little kit form hitting him straight int he heart. He didn't think he'd ever have kits. With Kitewing nursing Echostorm's kits, it would be better to wait, and she might not want any then. And what with her still loving Echostorm, which was obvious, it didn't look like she would ever want kits with him......

Leopardfrost was also thinking about the last time she saw Sunflame before the battle. She had never really been close to the wariror, but she knew that he and Appleberry had been close, and that was why she was grieving so much.

(Ah, but we have already sorted Raven and Scarlet out, haven't we? But Kite loves Echostorm, and Blackstar's confuzzled.)

"I love you Appleberry. Will you be my mate?" Sunflame meowed to her and softly licked her shoulder, purring. "Yes, of course!" she meowed and hoped her green eyes shone with how much she loved him back. She laid her head on his shoulder. "I love you too."

She squeased her eyes shut hard, that had been only that morning. "He asked me to be his mate this morning. I said yes." Appleberry meowed in hardly a whisper to Leopardfrost.

(Oh, Spottedkit doesn't really have a mom or dad she was one of those kits found, but no one else ever got any of the others so Blackstar can be her "adoptive dad" he he wants. XD)

[Keriae]

"Oh Appleberry...." She meowed, and licked her friend's cheek. "He loves you just as much as you love him, and he wil be waiting for you until the day you join StarClan." She was trying to reassure her friend, and wasn't sure if she was right, but it seemed like something Sunflame would do.

Appleberry sniffed and leaned her head against Leopardfrost. "We didn't even get a whole day as mates before he was gone." she meowed sadly. "StrayClan is going to pay for this."

"StrayClan are going to pay anyway." She agreed, not looking at her friend. "Tell you what, I'll leave any cat you want for you to get revenge on." All this tal about death was making Leopardfrost queasy.

[Rosalind]

"They won't soon forget when tey tried to take our terriory." Appleberry meowed, then let the subject drop. She wasn't a violent cat, and usaully would never kill in a battle but at least one cat from StrayClan was going to pay with their life.
