i like that you make the headlights eyes instead of what cars the movie did and made it the windshield, thats probably always been my biggest peeve with car characters, as a kid i always saw the face in the front. the grill is the nose.

FINALLY SOMEONE WHO GETS IT!!! It's also sort of a pet peeve of mine as well tbh, but I kinda got used to the eyes being drawn in the windshield lol

but eyes in the headlights are cooler in my humble opinion ✨
and yes, the grille is definitely the nose hehe

car fronts are interpreted by the brain the same way as faces, with the headlights being the "eyes", and this is influencing their designs, so it's indeed kind of weird that pixar decided to do it different

Yeah, I've heard. Pareidolia, i think is what it's called. But eh, maybe they wanted to be creative. idk.
