26 | Cursed | Location: Some Small Town

The thing about being cursed and not aging is you never get to stay in one place too long. So Cas found himself as the new man in town yet again, this time is was some small town out in the middle of nowhere. Perhaps he was being dramatic but he was so incredibly tired of this lifestyle. It was his own fault really, he’d had hundreds of years to think about it really. The witch and the band of thieves he had been apart of. Sounds bad, but it really hadn’t been. He’d been apart of a group inspired by Robin Hood once. He had a life and a family. Now he was some lost soul who was forced to wander, and scare townsfolk if anyone spotted him at night. Hence why he preferred small towns.

Sighing, he shouldered his way into the local coffee shop. It was busy as it always seemed to be. Soft chatter and a distant hum from some old radio. “Hello, Hello!” A cheerful voice greeted him, most likely the young woman behind the counter. Lillian he believed was her name. “Good morning. Lillian right?” His voice was rough from disuse, but he was branching out. The curse wouldn’t ever get broken if he continued to keep to himself. He’d said as such a few years back to another with the same unfortunate fate, Anastasia who he could say was either a pleasure or displeasure to know. He was never quite sure on which. Focusing his dark eyes on the woman in front of him instead of his thoughts, he had nearly missed her nodding and humming in response.

Chewing on the inside of his cheek he glanced above at the menu. The chalk was smeared in so many places and there was so many options. Understanding the ever changing food and drink options always left him puzzled. Things had changed so much since he was actually 26 instead of ‘eternally’ 26. He ordered a simple black coffee, figuring that was a safe option. He was aiming to find a job today, blend in a bit more with the crowd. He had a few years he could spend here before he’d have to split again. He gave Lillian a small smile before finding a spot to sit and wait. Taking in the chatter and people around him.
