I love all these names! Rushingstar and Dewstar fit FallsClan really well.
I'd also suggest Turtlestar, Juncostar, Gracklestar, Aspenstar, or Trilliumstar, since these are based on native species in the territory. They're a little odd for warrior names but I like them ^^

Does anyone have thoughts for how the previous leader (before Sykestar) was like? What would their name be? Why would they have chosen Sykestar as their deputy? How would they have interacted with some of the older cats in the clan? I'd imagine that they would have led the clan through some battles with the rogues.

A small update--
Just to keep the roleplay moving, Sykestar will proceed with her address at the Gathering. Mistback's roleplayer is too busy to write at the moment. We can say that Mistback needs time for her lungs to recover before she can speak to the clan. The walk to the Smoothing Stones took a lot out of her and she'll need to rest. Once necrobinical is back, Mistback can tell the clan what happened when Milktuft died. In the meantime, the gathering cats can talk with Sykestar about next steps.

I love everyone's writing so far! The kits bring a lot of life and energy to the camp. They're so cute!

hi all, so sorry for the delay. i have a confession to admit; writing for sykestar gives me hours of anxiety. i build her up in my head with such pride, i often feel my writing never reaches the quality i strive for, so i just stare at my screen for hours. but today, i will fight through this. it is not fair for others to feel they must wait on me, and i am going to do my best to dig my heels in, and just write. let it be good, let it be bad, i just want her to exist, and i think the best practice i can have, is to just write no matter how i feel the quality.

i am also working on creating a profile for an elder named sunsong, and i have an additional character in the works, a queen who has kits. if anyone may be interested in taking on a kit role, please feel free to message me!

Hey everyone! I apologize for the lack of updates. The past few weeks have been especially busy for me, so I wasn't able to keep up with the roleplay. I'm all caught up now and ready to write for Swallowsight, Pikecrest, and Briarseed. I should have a post up in a few days.

It has been wonderful reading through everyone's writing! I love seeing Spottedfeather step into her role as deputy, breaking up the argument and gently comforting Mistback. Spottedfeather will be promoted to full deputy during the next timeskip (after the gathering).

Do you guys think that anything should happen to/near camp while the majority of the warriors are away? Or would that be too much after all the disasters earlier today? I'm happy to let the cats talk in peace at camp, getting to know each other better. @Nunavik - will Starlingflight find anything on his patrol?

rey, your writing is beautiful, vivid with emotion and characterization. Please don't worry about perfection or quality. Sykestar is so resolute and protective and flawed. I know that whatever you write for her, I'll be happy with having that piece of her. But I understand that feeling-- it's how I feel when writing Briarseed and Swallowsight especially. Take your time with it, we'll be here when you're ready <3

And I'm excited to play a kit for your queen! He's going to be such a little rascal. Can't wait to learn more about your elder too.

Hey everyone! I'm sorry I've been gone for so long. I've been busy and sick, but I'll have a post up tonight.

Since this roleplay has been quiet for a while, I'll be removing inactive cats from the front and breaking up stuck interactions. I will send PMs to inactive players first. Mistback, Risingpaw, and Dapplepaw are all NPCs until their roleplayer returns, since they are involved with the current plot.

I want to make a little drawing featuring Sykestar and some of the high ranks. I'd like to put some other clan cats there, but I don't think I can fit everyone. Let me know if you want your cat to be in it! ^^
