Oh I think my favorite piece of literature is probably Wings of Fire. While it is a series for middle schoolers, I still love the series as an adult because it taught me to really read well, and enjoy reading. It has influenced me a lot to as an artist, and I still resonate with the books a lot. I like that it doesn’t shy away from complicated subjects and family dynamics. I’ve read several books that have influenced me, and are meant for an adult audience, and are written super well and engagingly. But Wings of Fire as a series was very pivotal to me as a person, and I would recommend it to any young reader who is intimidated by reading. It’s my favorite because of that fact, even though it is far from any long written classics or newest hits.
