The case study of shapes

Postby Vazchu » Fri Mar 14, 2025 5:05 am

I'm simply thinking out loud, rather doing that here than on the actual drawing I'm working with on and off right now. Kind of a continuation of the doodle I made in my notebook today before work where I studied some shapes. Here more thinking what scale shape to use - if I decide to try drawing Cour with scales for the first time ever in the drawing mentioned before. It's scary, I've never seen him as someone to have scales even if I do want to try it since he's a dragon.

Also a first attempt to be kinder to myself and not just do stuff for the sake of producing a finished thing, but that studies and sketches are okay and I am allowed to feel it's enough as it is without demanding more of myself ...

You know how it haunts you,
hunts you in the fog
- a mere shadow of the past.
You move onwards to the great unknown,
yet it never slips your mind
- the things you thought would last.

An eternity in the dark.
