my personal update is that I'm slowly working on dressing my hoard pets, I've tackled my dragon cats today! years ago I named the hoard "life in color" for no particular reason (that I can remember) but that inspired me to name them each a color word and then to dress them in that color. I'll put a few of my favs below but you can check out the whole group here!

I only ever focus mainly on lions. I started them back in 2013 when I first joined. Nothing else really ever caught my eye enough to make me commit to the hoard... plus August PPS is EXPENSIVE!

Why did you start this hoard?: uhh event on FR made me rich so i spent all the gems on c$ and brought 20 of them... (was tempted to buy 20 dragons as well, but am currently saving for ur snake so i can complete my snake collection)

Kecko, 73 toxics is so impressive! How long have you been hoarding them? Morgan, I adore that store litter, they definitely make for a super gorgeous hoard :) do you plan to get more or are you finishing your hoard at 20?

On another note, I'm trying to think of ways to make this club a little more active! Please let me know if you guys have any ideas. I know we always used to do a Secret Santa which I'd definitely like to continue, but obviously that's ages away so I'd love to do something sooner. I possibly could run a monthly giveaway? Maybe some kind of low key "Easter basket" gift exchange since that's coming up? Let me know if anyone has ideas or interest in any of the above!

Edit: just a note to the above, these gift exchanges/SS were never about gifting each other very rare hoard pets, everyone would put together a little list of lower value pets/items they might like to receive whether for hoards, collection, etc. and the gifter could pick from there. Just to clarify that no one is going to be expected to give anything crazy if you participate in these things!

what do i hoard?: '09 australian shepherds!



33 blue merle adults (very rare) and 4 blue merle pps (extremely rare)!
(plus, in that group are 2 UR aussies, 5 brown aussie adults, and 1 brown aussie pps)

why did you start this hoard?: the blue merle aussies are my favorite design on the site (aside from my BA)! i got my first one in 2012 from a quitting account and then couldn't stop myself from trading for others. these made me fall in love with blue merle aussies in real life, too.

i have found that these are way more expensive than what they seem to be valued for on lists/tiers, so i have spent way too much on these over the past 13 years but don't see myself stopping any time soon!


i also have a small hoard (5) of the blue merle buns (extremely rare)!
