Oscar King | 22 | Male | The DevotedSkating Name: Silver Bullet
Pronouns: He/Him
Sexuality: Straight
Personality: Oscar loves skating, and being friendly with others who also love skating. He admires those who are good at it, and wishes he could be like them. He's very open with teaming up with people, however that tends to leave him teaming up with the first person who accepts him or asks him without much consideration for how talented they may be. Despite being friendly most of the time, during the heat of a competition he can get a little overconfident, usually resulting in him making some mistake and causing his pair to get knocked out in the first round.
Bio: Oscar always loved skating, and for most his life he would watch skating on TV, or rarely, in person if the right opportunity came along. On his 18th birthday, he was gifted a pair of skates so he could start training. For a year he trained and practiced, and after that year he figured he was good enough to enter the championship races. However, he quickly learned that they were far more challenging than he expected and quickly found himself in last place round one. Still, he kept at it, however he never got higher than third place, but he always looked up to the champions, and does his best to hang around them as much as he can.

Okay, I started the roleplay. I'll copy the starting setting below for easy reference.
All of my characters are open.
Starting with competitors arriving/meeting in a training area, set up with a variety of obstacles to be practiced against - hurdles, ramps, slopes, railings, and even a makeshift bridge over a large, but shallow, pool of water (and towels on the side for those that fall in). The lobby of the building has two of the organisers of the competition signing competitors in, and directing them to the locker rooms so they can change into their skates and protective gear before going into the actual training arena. Sign ups for qualified skaters are about to close, and competitors are free to train and practice while the organisers finish with the sign ups and arrive in the arena themselves.
The race marshals are observing the training arena, to make sure there's no foul play even before the competition begins.
