The pretty golden haired girl nodded at the other. She said “I’ve heard from my dad that Ishtar is very beautiful. Um…is that her name, or is it Isuzu?” She’d thought both names had been told to her, or maybe she’d thought of her as Ishtar because Isuzu sounded like Ishtar. It hardly mattered either way. The name started with an I, that was all she knew. She then tilted her head as she looked at the boy, and she shivered a bit. “That sounds scary…but good things are obviously good.”

Raiyuu
The boy nodded at the other. “Marik is a really good duelist too, right?” he asked the other boy, who’d probably know more. He wondered if the other had any children…He’d heard from some news source or some such that the man might have a girlfriend.

(Marik’s alleged girlfriend mentioned here is my OC. I hope that’s okay, because the only canon character I ship him with is Bakura…and Idk if you’d be okay with a gay couple even though they aren’t directly in the RP)

"No, Ishtar is my mother's maiden name, Ishizu is her given name. As for my uncle, yeah, he was a good duelist. My father told me he was the original owner of The Winged Dragon of Ra before he lost to Yugi in the Battle City Tournament." That's why it's called Ra Yellow, my father always believed he was the best, and his God Card was Obelisk, my uncle Marik was incredibly intelligent, which is why Ra is known for their intellect, and Slifer... well, that was a personal grudge my father had against Yugi. My father funded the creation of Duel Acadamy, hell, he even had cards sent into space. I still remember that day, he said 'if there really is intelligent life out there, then let's teach them how to duel."

(Yeah, I don't mind either way, with your OC or with Bakura, I don't mind, especially because their Yami forms had similar obsessions)

The pretty golden haired girl nodded as she looked at him. “Either way, those are both pretty names.” She smiled a bit as she said these words, then shook her head a couple times. She nodded as she said “The Winged Dragon of Ra is amazing, I’ve heard.” She then nodded a third time, as he mentioned the one form name and color. She said “Ah, that’s really cool.” She nodded a fourth time, and looked at Raiyuu. He didn’t seem too annoyed, didn’t seem annoyed at all, about what was said about his father. She then looked to Caelan again. She giggled a bit as she listened to him finish his story of his father. She said “Well…if there’s other life out there, I’m sure they’ve found those cards. I wonder if there’s any human like aliens…”

Raiyuu
The boy nodded to what the other said. He smiled and nodded as he heard about the Ra Yellow dorm, and the reason for its name and color. He then sighed at the stuff about his dad…He blinked as aliens were then brought up, and seemed to think on that.

(XD cool. I could even go poly, because Marik’s love life probably won’t really be brought up much, if at all. He could have Bakura and a girlfriend. Unless1 that makes you really uncomfortable…but again it won’t really get brought up anyway.)

"Hopefully if those cards did end up in the hands of aliens, it doesn't go horribly wrong like it did in Pixels." Caelan looked at Raiyuu and said, "Sorry if I struck a nerve there. In reality, my dad doesn't have a grudge against your dad per say, he has a grudge against some guy named Atem, who seems to look a lot like your dad. He's been working on ways to duel Atem again. Personally, I don't know who he is, but my dad seems obsessed with dueling him again. And it's a bit of an unhealthy obsession, he won't move on with his life until he defeats Atem. That's why my uncle Mokuba helped my mom raise me more than my dad did."

The pretty golden haired girl nodded as she looked at the boy. She looked at his interesting hair again, and the thing on his forehead. She found herself drawn to both, drawn to him. She told herself to stop that…then smiled and said “I’m sure it’s going fine. If there are aliens out there,” she said. Which really probably wouldn’t be the oddest thing. Raiyuu had told her what his dad told him, that he’d been sharing a body with the spirit of a pharaoh. Considering that, there could be other life out there.

The boy shook his head as he looked at the other. He said “It’s fine, I know rivalries are a thing in the dualing world.” He then took pause as Caelan mentioned the Pharaoh…He wondered if he should tell him…but wasn’t sure, though Yugi had told him about Atem and Yugi.

Thinking of a way to change the topic of the conversation to something else that didn't deal with their families, Caelan asked, "So, what kind of deck do you guys use? Even though I've got five different decks, I mostly use my Evil HERO deck as my main deck."

The pretty golden haired girl smiled. She said “Oh, I only have one deck, but I have a lot of great cards in there.” She had things like a sorceress card, and a priestess, as well as spell and trap cards of course. She also had animal type monster cards too.

Raiyuu
The boy smiled at him. He said “I have two decks, but I favor the one more than the other one.” He had some of the cards his own father had used. There were a lot of cards that had been mass produced, so it made sense a lot of duelists might have similar cards.

"Cool. I think every duelist should use the cards they love the most. For me, if I had to pick my favorite card from my main deck, I'd say it's this one." before pulling out a card from his deck.

The pretty golden haired girl smiled. She said “That is a really cool card,” as she looked at the card for a moment. She pulled out two cards of her own, and said “Here. I really like these two cards,” as she let the other boy look at the cards (Raiyuu already knew what the cards were.

Raiyuu
The boy smiled at him. He said “That’s such a cool card,” as he also looked at the card.
