I don't really know if this is a special interest or hyperfixation but I'm really REALLY into old diseases and epidemics lol. I love learning about them, finding old cases and patient details, and figuring out pretty much every single detail about them :>. Not sure if i can say this on here but I also like looking into odd nsfw things people are into and figuring out why on earth they might be into them because i cannot for the life of me understand why someone might like it at first glance :D

i have a couple of hyperfixations right now tbh but my main one atm is the youtuber poofesure. i've been a huge fan of his videos since late 2019 and they're genuinely my biggest comfort in general, i've even started a whole community of people posting about poofesure on twitter because of how much i wanted his content to be talked about more (and i'm also a mod on the poofesure subreddit aswell :P).

i've once hyperfixated on his videos for 3 YEARS straight, still by far my longest lasting hyperfixation and he's probably one of my biggest special interests overall lol

last week on the rockstar games fixation it was red dead redemption 2 and this week it is claude speed. he makes me so sick i am gnawing at my cage bars curse every mute character ever because i am doomed to become obsessed with them. he's like evil gordon freeman. gordon freeman if instead of being a good natured hero with a slightly mischevious playful side he was a criminal who killed and stepped on the shoes of anyone if it meant reaching his goals, but still soomehow with the mischievous playful side. also im going back to pre 2020 fandom culture in some way cuz im obsessed w him x tommy vercetti.. idc that theyve literally never met theyre boyfriends trust me!!

I have way to many hyper fixations that I rotate between daily but before we moved it was sorting out my pokemon card collection but right now I gotta get my room put back together then I can get back on that aside from that I hyper fixate on my hoards n trading here on chicken smoothie and hopefully I can get a computer soon so it’s easier to start dressing up my pets other than that sometimes I hyper fixate at work but my coworkers keep me on track when that happens

it used to b stuffies; specifically the pokemon stuffies. i actually had a bunch collected including a 6ft snorlax that i stuffed myself, until long story short, i was not allowed back to the place i was living at, and all of my stuffies were there. after that happened (abt a year ago) i've kind of been trying to force myself to stop wanting stuffies. end of an era i've decided i guess.

collections in general , which either makes this the best or the worst site for me haha.
