🎉 Why This System Works for CSKC
✅ Reflects real-world canine health testing while remaining fun and balanced.
✅ Encourages thoughtful breeding rather than random pairings.
✅ Adds strategy for kennel management while maintaining a fair RNG aspect.
✅ Allows imported dogs to remain competitive while offering optional risk/reward RNG for more variability.

🐾 CSKC Health Testing System
A structured yet RNG-based health testing system that reflects real-world pedigree dog health evaluations while maintaining fairness and fun for participants.
📌 General Rules & Overview
- Imported dogs automatically receive "GOOD" unless the owner chooses to roll for potential higher or lower scores.
- Health testing for bred dogs (litters) is RNG-based but influenced by the health grades of the parents.
- Health results will be categorized into Body Scores (structural health) and Genetic Disorders (inheritable diseases).
- Health scores affect breeding programs, competition performance, and overall kennel strategies.
- Some conditions are recessive or carrier-based, affecting breeding outcomes.
- RNG Rolls will be done publicly in the CSKC discord
🏥 Optional Health Improvement Rules
- Retesting: Dogs may undergo a “Re-evaluation” test once in their lifetime. A small RNG chance exists for a slight health improvement (e.g., a FAIR dog might move to GOOD).
- Selective Breeding Strategies: Breeding dogs with better health scores over generations can improve the kennel’s overall genetic pool.
🎯 Final Notes
- Health testing is required for breeding within CSKC.
- Dogs with "Severe" structural issues or "Affected" genetic disorders are strongly discouraged from breeding (unless in special cases such as genetic diversity efforts).
- This system ensures realistic challenges in breeding programs, reflecting modern canine health screening.

🏆
Health Testing CategoriesThere are two categories of health testing, BBP is optional:
📋 Body Scores (Structural Health & Functionality)
- Hips: (HD - Hip Dysplasia)
- Elbows: (ED - Elbow Dysplasia)
- Patellas: (PL - Luxating Patella)
- Cardiac: (Heart Conditions)
- Eyes: (Cataracts, PRA, etc.)
- Thyroid: (Autoimmune or metabolic disorders)
📊
Health Scoring System (Body Scores)Each Body Score (hips, elbows, eyes, etc.) will receive a grade based on RNG, with parents' health impacting litter outcomes.

📌 Imported Dogs
- Default to GOOD.
- Users may choose to RNG roll instead for a chance at EXC or FAIR results.
RNG Roll Outcome for Imports:
80% → GOOD
10% → EXCELLENT
5% → FAIR
3% → BORDERLINE
2% → MILD or worse
🛑
Genetic Disorder Outcomes (RNG-Based)Each breed will have a Breed Blood Panel (BBP) listing specific diseases.Dogs may inherit Clear (N/N), Carrier (N/A), or Affected (A/A) statuses based on parent genetics.
If user wants a BBP ran on their dog, they are required to PROVIDE the tests they are wanting ran.
🎲
Litter Health Testing (RNG Based + Parent Influence)- When breeding two dogs, the health outcomes are influenced by the parents’ scores.
- If both parents have EXC or GOOD → Higher chance of healthier puppies.
- If one parent has a lower score (FAIR or BORDERLINE) → 50/50 chance of pups inheriting slight health risks.
- If one parent is SEVERE, litter will have increased risk of lower scores.
🎲 RNG Roll for Litter Health Outcomes
- Each Body Score (hips, elbows, etc.) is rolled separately.
Parental Influence:
- Two GOOD Parents: 80% chance pups receive GOOD, 15% FAIR, 5% other.
- One GOOD + One FAIR Parent: 50% chance of GOOD, 30% FAIR, 20% other.
- One BORDERLINE Parent: 40% chance FAIR, 35% BORDERLINE, 20% MILD, 5% SEVERE.
- One SEVERE Parent: 60% chance BORDERLINE or worse.
🧬
Genetic Disorders (Carrier & Affected Rolls)If one parent is a Carrier (N/A):
50% chance pups will also be carriers (N/A), 50% clear (N/N).
If one parent is Affected (A/A) and the other is a Carrier (N/A):
50% of pups will be Affected (A/A).
50% will be Carriers (N/A).
If both parents are Affected (A/A):
100% of pups will inherit the disease.
