Rhapsody is a name that means more than it seems to on the surface. my freshman year marching show was titled "American Celebrations", and the opener was Rhapsody in Blue by Gershwin. my first marching experience was ruined by COVID, but oh well. my sophomore year, our show was titled "The Road Not Taken", after the poem by Robert Frost. to this day, i still know the opening of the poem by heart. that season was one of the best of my life. when i saw Rhapsody, i knew this was meant to be his name. my first alpine, and my first furnished collie. not to mention that the person i did the split with also loved both pups as much as i did, meaning that neither of us knew which one we wanted to keep. in the end, i chose him, and my split partner opted for Cool, the red boy. which was the whole reason we did the split in the first place, lol. all's well that ends well. <3
