Do you ever like something so much it hurts? I’m not really sure how to describe it. It’s like, this longing to actually be a part of it. Reading and watching and listening and talking about it isn’t enough. I need to actually BE it. And I know that I never can, and that makes me insanely sad.
Sorry that’s a bad description but I don’t know how to better say it. It’s just this intense longing for I don’t even know what. It’s weird. I’m not sure if this is considered venting, it’s just… thoughts I guess.

i can completely relate to this. i get so intensely hyperfixated on media sometimes that it's hard to separate myself from it, to the point of distress or frustration when i'm not engaging with it. and even then, like you said, sometimes it just doesn't feel like enough -- you just wanna jump into the world yourself, or embody it in some way. you're definitely not alone! i hope that you're able to get to a more comfortable position with your hyperfixes / interests !!


i'm soo hyperfixated on this world / writing project that me and my partner have been working on hahaha, but it always makes me feel so silly to hyperfixate on my own creations. though, honestly, i'm so immensely proud of the world we've built so far and i'm Beyond excited to start using it as a rp universe!! i've been making ocs / concepts for days .. and i have some really good character ideas, but i struggle so much with designing them. i love crafting up unique personalities but when it comes to hair color and height i just sit here like this ↓↓



it is extremely rewarding to struggle with it and come out with a concept i'm proud of though. i'm autistic and can be extremely particular & picky about things because it has to Feel right for me to click with it; getting to the finish line with a design or plotline and realizing that it Feels right is just such an overwhelmingly relieving & satisfying experience hahaha

I have started collecting the parts to build my own gaming computer. And because there are so many aspects and so many things you need to know about building a computer, I have completely gone down a rabbit hole with all of the information I have learned. There is still quite a bit I think I have yet to learn, but I know so much about computers now. I have done literal hours of research on the topic to the point where it's mostly what I think about in my spare time. I have changed my mind on different parts of my build a couple of times based on new info and people who have tested those parts.

I have been watching computer related videos all day. I am actually currently watching a video on which thermal paste is the best lol
