I’m not sure if anyone cares anymore, since there was a three month time skip, plus we’ve been RPing for awhile, but I looked up whether false pregnancy was a thing in wolves too (which I should have been able to guess, but I just wanted to make sure), and it is.

Caused by hormonal changes or even being around a female who’s nursing pups, so if Chi was able to nurse her pups before the avalanche happened, then it could have caused milk production from Gauge too.

Or I could just say a hormonal change caused it.

Either way, this is how she would’ve kept Chi’s pups alive.
