The Egypt event has a special place in my heart because it was my first and I remember being so invested in the plot at the time.

It's definitely a unique fun fact and extremely hard to explain to people. I've found through trial and error the best way to describe it is saying something like "I'm an admin for a website that's similar to neopets" since nepoets was so mainstream most people can kind of get an idea that way.

Actually, out of genuine interest, can I follow up on this question? This site is still a BIG part of my online life, but few people outside my immediate family and closest friends know I still actively play. Does anyone in your physical-world circle 'know'? How do you navigate that?
No need to send anything
All of my close friends and family know about CS, and have a general sense of what it is. If it ever comes up with someone I'm less close to I just use the neopets thing and it works well. "I've played an online game similar to neopets for a long time and now I'm an admin for the site" typically doesn't get a ton of follow up questions haha.
