Can't release on hold messages

My inbox currently says:
"You have 56 private messages currently on hold because of full folder.
Release all on-hold messages… they will be re-sorted into the appropriate folder if enough space is made available."

None of my folders are full, in fact the folder that I think most of them go into is completely empty, plus I made another folder just in case to catch any overflow messages.
But when I click release all on-hold messages nothing happens?

Does anyone know what might be the problem? I just kind of want them gone at this point because the 56 next to the messages text on the account bar bothers me :/

Try moving all the messages from your main inbox into one of the spare groups and then trying to release them. I believe it needs space in the main folder. And you will need enough space to release all 56 messages at the same time, they cannot trickle into your inbox in smaller groups.

I have the same issue only in my case i have in total 395messages and private ones from other people which i cant answer. They all piled up because ive been in a long hiatus of almost two years. I dont know what to do but it causes me a lot pf trouble.

Please send in a help ticket for assistance, once the on-hold messages is more than your inbox can hold, you'll need help from staff to get them cleared ^^
