Queen of flames wrote:So I am little confused is the funeral still going or is it already done? Just to know where to put my characters.
Funeral finished up and they’re on their way back / just entering camp. But you could have them included in the procession and just explain how they reacted to the funeral and what they did on their way back, and then just pick it up from them entering the camp.
Alternatively, Snarl is about to go out on patrol for food.

Cool. I’ll probably have Snow join the hunting group then (unless you want him to spend more time with Tempest.)

(mother incominggg)
Username: ienrirCat Name: Lightning Striking the SeaAge: 90 moonsGender: She-catTribe Rank: Sailor Description of looks :A small, elegant torbie; her brown fur streaked with ginger patches and stripes that swirl along her back and flanks. She was once strikingly graceful, a cat who moved like the wind over water- light, quick, always a step ahead. But time has softened that edge, just a little. Her fur has silvered at the muzzle and along her cheeks, her vibrant coat dimming; though her yellow eyes still gleam with mischief; tired, but never dull.Personality:Lightning Striking the Sea used to live for the thrill of a well-timed joke, a clever lie, or a challenge she had no business winning. She still enjoys the game, still wears her wit like a blade, but moons of battle, loss, and responsibility have worn her down. She carries herself with poise, still holds her head high when others are watching- but when she thinks she’s alone, her posture drops just a little, shoulders rolling forward, steps losing their usual precision. She doesn’t ask for help. She doesn’t complain. She just keeps going.
Fiercely loyal- to her tribe, to her daughter- but she rarely says it outright. Instead, she shows it in her attention to detail, the way she pushes others just enough to make them stronger, the way she stays when things get hard.
She believes in The Tribe of Arcadia wholeheartedly, but not in the way most do. Where others treat the spirits with solemn reverence, Lightning sees them as old friends, tricksters and sailors who still whisper through the waves. She’ll make bets with the wind, toss a pebble into the tide to 'settle a debt', and talk to the sky like it can answer back. She never prays for safety, only for luck. And even then, she doesn’t count on it.Scent : She smells of the ocean; sea-weed, the salt clinging to sun-dried shells.Family: Murmur of Midnight Sea is her daughter.History :She was born with salt in her fur and the ocean in her heart. The water was her playground, and she cut effortlessly through the waves as though they bent to her will. She almost believed they did, until they took something from her.
She had a brother once, her living shadow. They pushed each other to be faster, braver, bolder- until the day Lightning pushed too far. She dared him to race her through a tide that was turning rough, and he took the challenge without hesitation. She made it back. He didn’t. To this day she's never spoke of it. Not really. The guilt was something she carried alone, and she buried it deep beneath duty and faith. She served her tribe tirelessly, as though she had something to prove- not just to her clanmates, but to the spirits themselves. She believed in The Tribe of Arcadia with every piece of her heart, saw them as a force of balance. They took, but they gave. They gave, but they took.
Her parents lived long enough for her to reconcile with them before they passed, but she was never truly close to them. Not after what had happened. The tribe was full of tight-knit families, bonds that felt unshakable, but as she aged she began to feel she'd never truly belonged to one. She had never wanted a mate, romantic love was somewhere just beyond her perception. But a child? A child was legacy. A name that would live past her. A part of herself that would remain when she was nothing more than a story on the wind. And so, selfishly, she chose to have one.
The loner was nothing important, a passing thing. She never told him. Never planned to. When Murmur of Midnight Sea was born, Lightning expected to feel pride. Satisfaction. But the moment she saw her, the moment she felt that tiny heartbeat against her own, she realized it was more than that. More than she had ever imagined. She had wanted to leave a mark on the world. Instead, she had been completely undone.
Then came the boar.
Seeing her daughter broken, bleeding, barely clinging to life- it was worse than losing her brother. Worse than anything. And in the depths of her grief, she made a deal with Arcadia. What exactly she promised, she won’t say. Maybe not even she knows. But The Tribe of Arcadia likes balance. They took, and they gave. Murmur lived. That was all that mattered.Theme Song : Cosmo Sheldrake - Old OceanMate, Crush, Etc.: Other: S H A R K S-Despite her love of the ocean, she never swims out past where her paws can touch the sand. But still stares at it like it's calling her home.
