Maybe Tempest could be Wolverine’s foster dad? I could imagine Tempest taking him under his wing after seeing the loss of his siblings and deceased mother. From there, he’d probably visit the nursery every day to check on him and ensure that he feels loved and cared for despite the odd smells and environment. Oh oh and… he would’ve had the conversation with Wolverine at, probably 6 moons old I’d say, explaining what really happened to his siblings and parents (assuming he didn’t remember)… and from there I’m not sure if you’d prefer him be upset / feel betrayed by the news or understanding / thankful for Tempest taking them in.

Just my thoughts if you’d be interested in something like that! I’d love to hear if you have any ideas too

That's fine if he is his foster dad. No, he has no memories of his mother or siblings dead, either for being so young or by trauma. Thought he maybe had some bad nightmares for a very long time about the happening without him truly understanding why. If he tells him the truth, he could be likely shocked and upset at first but will eventually understand it. I think he could believe Tempest is his dad even after hearing he is not, as he was pretty much the only parent he ever had.

I honestly wanted to suggest maybe Snow could have been a second foster parent, but…idk.
Maybe I shouldn’t. It could be something Tempest and Snow could have bonded over, but idk if you wanted Wolverine to have two foster parents if they aren’t mates.

Well, if they're not mates, I don't know how that could work, especially if Snow is a male too, as a female he could've been a foster mother, as Wolverine could've needed a mother for being so young when his mother died.

Speaking of Wolverine-- he's an apprentice who needs a mentor: maybe Strike is his mentor? I ask specifically because she was also a rogue's kit found by the tribe and I think she'd be eager to teach him given their similar pasts.
