This category is strictly for more vocal groups - think boy bands, girl groups, acapella, and so on. They can certainly choose to play an instrument during any of their performances, and will even get bonus points, if impressive enough; however, they will be judged solely by their vocals/harmonies and dance routines.

Genre: K-Pop
A well-seasoned and experienced male K-pop group consisting of 6 members, they've been in the K-pop industry since their teens. Between their perfect blend of harmonious voices, intricate and flawless dance routines, and perfect looks - topped with cute personalities - one could certainly see the appeal of these boys, even if the genre isn't exactly their cup of tea. Their popularity has soared to the point where they're just beginning to become known in the USA. Capitalizing on this, their record label has chosen to fly them to America to compete in the popular music competition. They figure, whether the group wins, or not, it will at least get their name out there, and boost their sales. Of course, these boys still have every intention of winning - not only to prove themselves, but also in honor of their fans, whom they love deeply and are extremely dedicated to. They always give it their all, and above and beyond, to put on the very best performance they possibly can. But, despite this and their very close-knit, brotherly-like bond, there of course will always still be times where they butt heads, disagree, and don't get along. That, on top of trying to keep any potential relationships under wraps, due to the industry's strict "no-relationships" rules and policies, can certainly cause problems to arise. Will they be able to persevere and prevail? Or will their problems eventually consume them?
Manager:
This is the manager of Starlight; she's oftentimes in charge of taking care of the 6 boys, keeping up on their schedules and ensuring they stay on it in a very timely manner, helping them to make decisions to keep up on their images and keep them in line, and everything in-between. She's been there since the beginning, and is a key reason as to why they are so successful, today. She'a become one of their biggest allies, confidantes, and a close friend to all 6 members. She tends to be a worrywart and a mother hen, doing everything within her power to ensure all 6 of these boys are always taken care of and promoted properly.

The Leader
The oldest member of the group, and oftentimes looked at as the figurehead, this boy will be sure to melt your heart! He's responsible for taking charge, and making important and quintessential decisions for the group, which oftentimes means getting input from the group's manager. Although his word is the final say in the decisions, he always discusses with the entire group, and values all their inputs. While making decisions, he always takes their say into account, especially more important decisions, and always makes sure that everyone is heard, feels valued, and that decisions are made as a team. He does, however, oftentimes tend to overthink things and worries about making the wrong choices, just wanting to do what is best for the group; despite this, he conceals his concerns well with an air of faux confidence and certainty. He's seen as the most calm, cool, collected, and mature member of the group, sometimes seemingly coming across as serious, and perhaps even stoic to some, at times; but, really, he's a rather fun and personable individual when one actually knows him well. He's also got quite a charming air about him. He dreams of finding the girl of his dreams, and is sure to treat her like absolute royalty. His voice is gentle, soft, and smooth as honey, ensuring that any girl will swoon when they hear him singing a love ballad. He's often touted as the group's best singer, though he's extremely humble about it and believes that the other boys have better voices than he does.

The Cinnamon Roll
This boy is the absolute definition of cute and adorable! He's a total sweetheart, who loves making sure that everyone is happy, comfortable, and feels safe. He's also very affectionate, and will be sure to spoil that one special girl rotten! He also adores his fans, and constantly reminds them of how much they are loved, valued, and important, and how happy he is that they are here. No matter what, he just wants to make sure that they know that they matter. He's a very cuddly and affectionate individual, and makes that very clear and known. In interviews, and even sometimes in-between performances onstage, you'll typically see him displaying his shameless "PDA", so to speak, with his bandmates, as well as with others that he's close to, in his free time. He does question and second-guess himself a lot, making him a bit insecure, and sometimes just needs some encouragement and reassurance. He hides this in the public eye, due to his image, though the boys are well aware of his insecurities, and always make sure to support him. His gentle, yet powerful, voice is as sickeningly sweet, and will leave you craving for more! He's also one of the two best dancers of the group, and loves helping choreograph their dance routines with the other best dancer in the group!

The Goofball
This boy is very silly, and loves to joke around. He enjoys not only laughing, himself, but also loves making other people laugh and smile. He feels that a little levity heals the soul, and strongly believes that a good dose of it is necessary for each and every day. After all, Charlie Chaplin's words ring so true: "A day without laughter is a day wasted." He's very youthful and boyish, and his image suggests that he's more innocent and naive. But even he has been through some rough and difficult times, but he conceals it well, and tries not to think on such times: he's made it past that, has been greatly blessed, and is living in the present. His energy brings an air of excitement to the stage, and his bold voice packs quite the punch, bringing the octaves higher up on his group's music. He also has quite the talent for rapping!

The "Bad Boy"
Despite what his image may suggest, he isn't quite as much of a bad guy as one would imagine his image would suggest. Sure, his style and some of his attitudes may allude to being a bit of a punk, but he's actually not so bad when you actually get to know him. In fact, he's actually a total sweetheart who will love to joke around and playfully tease/mess with you. And if you're a girl he's interested in? You'll melt his heart, and he'll be absolute putty in your hands, no questions asked. He will be sure to spoil that lucky woman rotten! But cross him, his fans, or his loved ones, and you're in deep trouble. While he wouldn't harm a fly, he would make exceptions for those who try to hurt the people he loves. He won't hesitate to protect them, which has already resulted in a couple of confrontations from his agency. But that's alright to him, it was worth it, in his eyes. He also adores his fans, and always gives his utmost 100% on stage, making sure that each performance is better than the last. He's the group's best rapper; combine that with a deep, voice, and it makes quite the addictive mix that has resulted in many calling him an extremely quintessential double-threat for the group.

This all-girls' group debtued, almost a year ago, and has recently taken Japan by storm! Between their vibrant personalities and energy that melds well onstage, their gorgeous looks, cutesy personalities, and strong bonds with one another, makes them a recipe for success. They're a rather appealing group that will be sure to exceed expectations! (WIP)

Dance and vocals being incorporated can give bonus points, but these groups will primarily be judged based upon their instrumental talents and abilities.

♪ Solo Acts ♭
This category is strictly for those who just want to give a shot at doing a solo performance. They can do any genre, and may choose vocals, instrumentals, or a mix of the two. Dancing is also highly encouraged! Rumor has it that talent scouts will be watching, and will be offering some of the best performances record deals and opportunities to either go solo, or form a group with other solo talent contestants!
