He nods along to what the silver cat is saying to the red and darker red cat. He then glances to his sibling for a moment. He nods at the other, saying “Good, because…they’ll fight you on it. The berries and water and honey should be enough. There should still be bees since it isn’t wint- leafbare yet. The honey should soothe their throat and maybe do something about the cough. It’ll at least make it so they don’t get a sore throat.” He then tilted his head and asked “Is there…anything else we need besides mint and honey?”

The silver colored she cat purrs as she looks at the two. She nods and says “You’re welcome,” before she turns away. She quickly runs over to the two adults, since she’d said she’d go with them. As they leave the temporary den, she follows the two of them out.

The golden furred and ambery eyed male purrs as well, mirroring his twin. He glanced around a moment, then looks to the others again. He nods at Honeypaw, and says “You’re welcome.” He watches his sister run off, then looks to Honeypaw once more. He tilted his head a moment. He then says “I hope so too…”

The brown eyed red fox yawns a bit, and shakes their head. They look over at their little one, then back to the she cat. They hear her utter a sound, and they ask “Are you okay?” They then nod as she says she loves the other baby fox already.

They then glance to Fallen, as he speaks. They nod at him, then glance to Mossy and say “You’re not a bother.”

The sectoral heterochromatic eyed cat nods as they look at him. Saying “Ah…okay,” and they know he’s right. If she gets sick it could be bad, as travel would be harder. Plus, being sick could affect the kittens depending what kind of sickness… or could make her weaker. They turn their attention back to Caramel. They want to go with the others…but they need to stay with Caramel. They know Pumpkin and Fell are capable of getting herbs. They walk closer to Koipelt and Caramel Latte, to give Caramel the berries and water.

They'll fight him? They'd loose. "You may use the lingo you're comfortable with, Pumpkin, " says the silver cat, "i understand. " Blue eyes slide over their path, checking for dangers or hang-ups, he finds few.

As Silverpaw joins them he slows his pace a little before speaking, "mint and honey are the priority, however, I'd be on the lookout for all herbs, including ones like lovage and milk thistle. " He takes a deep breath, falling silent for a second before heading off towards a different direction, slightly.

"Oh y-yes, immm fine, one of thhem j-j-j--" the word 'jumped' won't leave her tongue and she doesn't remember another word that means the same at the moment. "J-j-j-" the queen swallows at her building frustrations, "th-they ddo that sss-ssometimes." She licks at her chest fur, embarrassed.

Mossy pulls her tail closer, glances back at WhiteLotus and MothKit, back to Twilight, "t-thh-thank you."

They nod when he says they can use whatever lingo they’re used to. They say “Then…winter…it isn’t winter yet but it’ll be soon.” Winter is the word he’d grown used to hearing. Especially since there’d also been four dogs in the house, Winter and her sons Blizzard, Frost and Wind.

Twilight has a look of wonder on their face. Then the expression goes neutral, and they say “You can go back to those two if you want.”

He snorts his humor at the image in his head - of forcing the other cat to eat the herbs. He wouldnt, but he Would sternly recommend it, if it came down to it. If there was no choice. "Soon," agrees the silver cat, staring at the thunderpath - road- up one way and down the other. He, after noticing the many monsters traveling it, heads for a culvert; there he pads into the dark and out onto the other side of the road, leading his companions.

"There's another reason I asked you both along," confesses the he-cat. "And it is this; the boulder and sand den will not keep us safe from the cold and the rain. " There's hesitatance, "and i know MossBlossom cannot travel far, not with her paws, not with her kits. The warriors, and all you former house-cats, wouldn't last too long with us carrying her, the kits and trying to keep us safe and fed." Is expressed as they stand beside a Chinese food places' garbage can. "I'm not familiar with this place." At least, not anymore.

They’d also give it to us and our parents.” He felt like he might be repeating himself with saying that… Shaking his head, he glanced back at the silver apprentice a moment. Purring as they looked at her, then they focused on the silver male. He nodded at him, and said “I’m glad it’s not far.” He then blinked his eyes, following the other to then through the culvert.

They tilted their head as the other cat spoke to them and Silverpaw. They were trying to figure out what his other reason could be. Then Fallen was speaking out about what his other reason was. Pumpkin shook his head a couple times, at this. He said “hey…I’m a strong cat,” but decided not to push it. When the other cat spoke of how Pumpkin and Silverpaw would likely know the area, he blinked. “Oh…yeah, I definitely know the area. Why…do you want to make stops along the way, make temporary camps at places?” is asked.

He nods at the information on the honey, wondering if they could... perloin a two-legs' honey reserves. It would keep longer... wouldnt it? He's still considering it when Pumpkin Spice Latte referrs to his own strength and the spectral cat offers an amused sound. "Wasn't doubting your strength, " is spoken, "just that carrying an adult cat, slight as she is though, can be quite taxing over time." And they may need to fight. Not to mention the weather and prey (or lack thereof) and prolonged walking while carrying..

"Yes," affirms the he-cat, "i think it would be wise to travel slowly so everyone is safe and healthy." Blue eyes sparkle with their understanding his motives and FallenRains hums. "So, what do you think of that, you two?" And he begins walking again, towards the promptings of the dead for herbs, and the faint scents of herbs on the breeze.

He doesn’t dwell on that, though, and instead nods at the other. He purrs a bit, when the other says he doesn’t doubt his strength. The other also seems maybe worried for his health and energy. He nods and says “Okay…that’s true.” He glances back at the apprentice a moment, as she follows them. He then turns back to the silver colored adult, and just watches him a moment.

He then nods again, as he says “Well…I can definitely help with finding places to stay. Though the further out we go…it’ll get harder after a certain point. We may be able to find other cats out there that can help us though. Show us places to stay or such. Anyway…there’s a lot of nice humans out here. I’m not sure how Mossy would fare, staying around any of them though…I guess if we just didn’t let her see them, she might be fine? You’ve known her longer, so…you’d know maybe what to do about that.”

They make a sound like a laugh, then say “Yes, I can teach Moth when he’s bigger. Kasai could also help a little…but anyway, as you know, foxes talk in yips and…I’m not sure if you’d calling them barks. You just heard me make another sound, too. Humans actually call that laughing. We don’t really laugh…but I guess that sound is enough like a laugh that they call it that. Also…our culture is pretty similar to a cat’s.”

He side-steps the broken pieces of a bottle without thinking about it. One ear flicks to show he is listening, their he's taking direction from those only he can see. The alley to his left is the quickest route to the herbs and he pads down it. "I don't think it would be good for her psyche." Admits the cat, "she... is severely traumatized from losing her mate, Fang.. but she said she's spent time cajoling food from the humans so I don't think it will be too much of an issue. However, spending much time with them... courts more chances of loss and dogs." His speech falters and the silver ghost peers over at the herbs growing haphazardly in a very disused back yard. "I don't want us locked in with a human, I'd prefer us outside, as we are meant to be." Rather than jumping the fence he wriggles under it and then turns to untangle his red cloth from a bit of wire.

"Don't get me wrong, humans can be ... useful... but i don't trust them, " Fallen tsks at the tiny hole in his red fabric and re-dons the garment, "i don't think they'd take us all and we shouldn't be separated. "

There's a particular wriggle in her belly, but she brushes it off, kits move after all. "I-i tt-thh-thought that ffoxes wh-wah-were more related t-to dd-dogs." Admits the queen cat, "b-but Fallen ss-says that he's seen some p-packs of w-wh-wolves and ddogs and they aren't the-the ssame k-comparatively." Muses the she-cat gently, "do y-you have k-clans? Or packs?"

As the young fox says he can help she nods. "Yes you k-can." She gently nuzzles the kit, briefly.

The red tabby and high white cat shakes his head at the other cat. Saying “No, no, I didn’t mean we’d have to live in a house. There’s shops around that have areas on the side or in the back. Some of the cats that pass by talk about how they stay there and get food before moving on.” He flicks his tail, and twitches his ears. He then says “Not all dogs are bad, by the way. Also…there’s farms and barns around too. If we’re going out towards the countryside, into the countryside, we could stay in some barns along the way. I’ve heard clan cats don’t always like farmers? I’ve heard some of them aren’t nice…The ones out here are definitely nice though.” In fact, his humans sometimes had taken him to the markets and such. The farmers there had been quite nice. He was sure some farmers even kept cats in their barns to keep away mice. He watched the other wriggle around. He goes through the fence next, then asks “Is your cloth okay, did it get a tear in it?”

He glances back at Silverpaw for a moment. Once she’s through the fence as well, he turns back towards FallenRains. He nods at him and says “It’s fine not to trust them, but…they aren’t all bad. There’s definitely bad ones, but my owners are alright, and there’s others like my owners.” Of course, there’s other places to stay too. They don’t need to eat cat food to survive, after all. He says “We can always just stay in barns and such. There’s abandoned houses and sheds and cabins, so…we could stay at those places along the way.”

The brown eyed red fox makes that almost laughing sound again. They say “We are definitely not related to dogs or wolves. We aren’t canine at all, but we also aren’t feline. There’s definitely humans that either think we are feline or just think we’re like cats.” They shook their head at this fact. “You know though…cats, dogs, foxes and wolves are pretty similar. In that we protect the young, and hunt for others such as pregnant mothers. Of course…not all foxes are like that, but neither are all dogs or cats. I’ve seen male cats that leave the pregnant female…That’s certainly true for other animals too. I’ve heard stories of how cheetahs and tigers are like in the wild. Not that I’ve ever met any, we aren’t in a place where cheetahs or tigers are at.”

"Moss spoke of those places," concurs the silver cat, "ive ... used them, on occasion." Hes never been above scrounging through two-leg garbage for a meal either, but doesnt feel the need to announce it. Fallen is caught off guard by the next words from Pumpkin Spice Latte. "Youre right, not all dogs are the way some which chase cats are. I was raised by one such dog, and even she was.... cautious. But how do you know before its too late? Not every dog, fox or cat will hiss or snarl or bark. Some wag their tails and smile before gutting you. Getting close to them and being wrong can be catastrophic and with others it isn't a risk I'm willing to take." he swallows, eyes turning to steel, "not everyone is your friend... its better to be safe, than sorry." How many scars litter his pelt before he'd learned that lesson? How many more are from saving those who hadn't yet? How many had he burried ---

He takes a deep breath and mentally names several different prey before exhaling and speaking once more; "its has a puncture, as occurs.. it will suffice for its intended use." Words exhausted he turns to the herbs and begins to snip delicate fronds off with his teeth, holding down the foliage with one paw.
