Lock alpha can only be used when the drawing (The lines) weren't drawn on the background

. This drawing isnt Lock Alpha, which means it's harder to edit the picture/Color it in. (Lock Alpha basically means, lock the layer so that if you draw on it, you can only go over what has already been drawn before. It's very easy when you want to change the color of your lines or when coloring in someone else's picture.) To get Lock Alpha, you start up a new oekaki, and press the + button on the layer slide. You should get a 'Layer 2' above your "Layer 1". Layer 1 is always a white canvas, the background. Layer two is where you can draw the lines art. Add another layer using the + button, it will appear above 'Layer 2' and will be called 'layer 3'. Drag Layer 3 so that it's underneath layer 2 and above layer 1. Now color your picture in with a random color. And then you are all done, set to post it.
The next person who will want to draw/color in your picture, simply goes to layer 3, hits lock alpha and can easily color it in without drawing outside the lines.
Hope this helped a bit
